On second thought, **** it, let's just play $.50/$1 NL 2-7 single draw.

Yay!

Also I'd be game for absolutely anything Thursday at 1/2.

Finally, orbits or time? Personally I hate changing every orbit because games like holdem are done in ten minutes. Mebbe rotate games every hour? Get through a full rotation in four hours which isn't bad. Alternatively we could do half hours.

My preference is limit Triple Draw, but I could be persuaded to do an 8-Game mix that includes NL 2-7 SD.

And for Omaha and Stud, Hi-Lo > Hi only. Always.

It'll just be nice to get to play games other than HE and Omaha.

It'll depend on how I'm running at the table. If I'm getting cold decked, I'm up for anything to get me away from the table. ;-)

How many days she needed off work

I would point out that any device you're accessing this on has a nifty built in calendar, but that would be too easy.... ;-)

Thursday - Sunday. I'm driving down Thursday morning and heading back Sunday morning.

I'll play up to 3/6 (or 2/4 full kill). I fully expect to be crushed at limit unless I run like Zeus, so I need to limit my losses.

This should be the motto for Thursday night. I've got pfap's deck of 55-ish games, so no need to print another copy.

Time is probably better, since some games last longer, especially some of the crazy multi-board stuff that might come up on Thursday.

I'd be cool with 1/2 hour rotations. Full hour seems a bit too much to me.

Okay, we're less than a month away, so I'd like to start getting confirmations from those of you who plan to attend.

Please drop me a PM with the following: real name, email, phone #, preferred contact method (email/text/phone) and I'll respond in kind. I'll also use this contact info to provide my address and other stuff that I don't want posted in the public forum.

For those of you who have a +1 on the list, please send me their names too.

Also, if you're probable but not 100% sure right now, send me your info anyway so that I can put you on the mailing list.

It's not a problem - the game will be here, you can say yes at the very last minute and I'll have a seat for you. Just make sure you PM me with contact info so I can include you on the logistics emails.

Almost all of my experience is hold'em; I would be game for learning the other variants through watching. I understand Omaha hi and have been reading up on hi/low and may be persuaded to buy into one of those at relatively low stakes to get a feel for it.

I used to play in a game that was half LHE and half NLHE. The host would set a timer for 30 mins and it would switch on the timer. It worked great and I recommend doing the same for your game.

Omaha hi-lo in the limit format is an amazingly fun game. If you play it in a casino, you'll likely be surrounded by very old, very grumpy people, but that can provide some excellent peoplewatching entertainment. If you play it with a bunch of other degenerate loonies who are just looking to have a good time, it's wonderful. So definitely worth learning.

Definitely come on Thursday night and play the 1/2 mix game then. You'll get exposed to a variety of different games for very low stakes. IMO 1/2 limit plays pretty close to .25/.50 NL, maybe a little smaller.

Plus, there will be beer and Black Dynamite.
