I have to admit I haven't seen the movie yet, but the IMDB page makes me believe I should be putting this on a pedestal with Spaceballs and Idiocracy...Looking forward to seeing it!

Hotel reservations have been made thanks to the ton of Sheraton points my travelling companion has racked up from work. The current plan is to leave on Thursday morning to head down, get checked in, and then head over for the fun.

Here's the pricing I saw for 9mm ammo at my local Wally World. Note that they were out of stock:

I'd prefer a half keg of Angry Orchard, but that's because I'm a cider guy. Can't stand beer.

I'm upgrading my probability of being there to around 55% chance. Basically, I really hope to be there and am looking forward to it, but not entirely certain when I'm flying into the States yet.

I am also upgrading my likelihood of participating significantly; It looks like the ex-wife will have my daughter that weekend effectively giving me all weekend for shenanigans...

WHOOP! WHOOP!

I just got back from vacation and we are one month away from HPI, so I'm now in full blown panic mode. I haven't submitted the commemorative chip art to Joe at PGI yet, but that should happen this week (and since these are ceramics he should be able to crank them out pretty quickly). I've also got a bunch of housework that needs to be done - painting the poker room, finishing up a half-done laminate floor, and general cleaning & organization.

Will probably get a 1/6 of Cigar City Maduro (excellent brown ale from Tampa) and a quarter of something else TBD.

My wife is a cider drinker too. It probably won't be a keg but I'll have something in the house for you.

I'll update the list accordingly.

Hotel flight and car booked.

Southwest 355 arrives at 1305 local.

Car rental was $107 for three days.

Hilton Garden Inn Orlando East/UCF Area booked near Schmend's for $290 over three nights. Pali's got first dibs to split with me for hotel; if others want to split car and stay at same hotel I'm cool with that. Post here or PM and let me know.

Also, any interest in bigger limit games? Schmend I know you want to stick around $1/$2 but I'll play anything through $5/$10 if people want to put together a mixed game. I've got pfap's cards in PDF form so I could print a copy of those out for HPI.

I have no opposition to bigger limit games, but you will probably lose the interest of my home crowd. Most of these guys are low-stakes NLHE players.

My buddy and I are staying at the Sheraton Suites by the airport (purely because he has more Starwoods points than god). I'm driving down, so I'll have my car (and will likely remove the booster seats in the back just in case people want to hitch a ride).

As for bigger limit games, I could be persuaded to do 3/6 or 4/8, depending on the mix. My preferred is HOST (HE, Omaha, Stud8, and Triple Draw), but I'm up for about anything that isn't pure HE.

Of course, I've also told my buddy I have a hard cap for the weekend and if I start talking about hitting the ATM past that, he's to Gibb's smack me.

No limit 2-7 single draw? Can also play it A-5. I'll play anything minus dumbass badgui games.

Ok how's about $4/$8:

LHE
O/8
Stud 8
Limit 2-7 Single Draw (? We could play it like a draw game but with blinds and two betting rounds of big bets only. Not sure if I would want a NL game in a limit mix.)

Obviously we could either do triple draw or the NL single draw as the fourth game, I'm fine either way.
