I'm pretty sure that was just step one.

Also, the guy who invented the cure died of grayscale so they stopped doing it.

Euron's fleet finding Yara's fleet in the middle of the night and throwing fireballs at it is pretty LOL implausible. I liked the Arya line, and I liked the Sansa/Jon bit. Whither art thou, Gregor?

Euron is mentioned to be involved in magic (thru his sails to the end of the world) so maybe that helped him some.

What did Arya say to herself after the wolf walked away?
07-23-2017 , 10:53 PM
^Sth along the lines she wouldn't expect Nymeria to just up and leave her pack just because Arya decided to say it's ok to come back now.

'That's not you.'

So did the lesbian Greyjoy die? Was that her hanging from the boat?
07-23-2017 , 11:23 PM
Nah that was one of the sand snake daughters, thankfully. Pretty sure yara and the dornish mom will be gifts to cersei.

I'm pretty sure those were the sand snakes. He probably took Yara and Ellaria back to Cersei as his gift to win her over.

also, apropos of nothing, the remaining sand snake was on this weird live action / cartoon hybrid canadian kids show as a child actress that my kid really likes. was rewatching the olenna / sand bit from s6 and i was like oh ****, this is weird, the chick from my kids tv show told bronn he needs a bad pussy.

Perhaps Euron's fleet was in between Dragon Stone and KL?

Holy ish, now that's a good episode!!!!

Missandei= sexiest woman alive!!!

Yara is def alive, we didn't see her killed on screen.

She is probably one of the gifts to Cersei along with the head sand snake chick, and possibly one of the daughters (the other 2 were killed).

Overall great episode. I was wondering about Arya and Winterfell, wondering why she wasn't going home, kind of a stretch to believe she hadn't heard the news till now but her going to Winterfel over King's Landing makes way more sense.

The cutting off the grayscale isn't really the cure, it's probably all the ointments and **** they slap on after to attempt to stop it from growing back.

Seems like it's a high risk, low % chance so that's why it's not done anymore.

Disappointed to see Nameria not go with Arya but it makes sense when you think about it. Dire wolves are naturally wild anyway and she's been out in the wild longer at this point than she was ever tame.
07-24-2017 , 12:24 AM
Plus it probably costs a ton to animate her.
07-24-2017 , 12:24 AM
Its weird that at no point in planning no one was like "I wonder where Euron is" and just assumed they could cross right past KL on the way to Dorne.

Also dont think the Eunuchs are in for a good time on their way to Casterly Rock
07-24-2017 , 12:30 AM
They were probably as baffled as we are that Euron was able to build an entire fleet so quickly

Round 1 goes to Cersei
07-24-2017 , 12:43 AM
Not sure why people are somehow not buying Euron being able to do that. Euron was just in King's landing with a large portion of his fleet and Dragonstone is very close to King's Landing and him intercepting them on the way to Dorne makes perfect sense geographically.

Tirion's plan likely falls apart, Dorne has no leadership so them mustering an army to get to King's Landing any time soon seems unlikely.

They may have to assault King's Landing with the Dothraki which obviously complicates things.

The whole gender debate with Melisandre was so out of place for me just like having Ed Sheeran in the first episode. I kinda want my real world current events and stuff not in my fantasy world show
07-24-2017 , 12:57 AM
Yeah that was pretty eye rolling. There's like 8 major political leaders in Westeros and like 6 of them are chicks. It feels organic though, because the male leadership have been killed off in the extended wars and conflicts and stuff so far. However the last few episodes they've done some obvious patting themselves on the back at all the 'girl power' in the show which does feel like forced pandering.
07-24-2017 , 01:05 AM
wasnt really anything about 'world current events" they just rushed in to put melisandre's prophecy in there and say oh btw maybe its princess too
