Hey guys gonna be in the DC area this weekend! Any bought on what I should do while I'm here? Considering Atlantic city for a day depending on if my brother will go with.

Atlantic City is a ****hole and it's expensive to stay there. If you're just looking for some poker/gambling action you could check out Delaware Park, though I haven't been there personally.

I don't really know what your interests are, but there are a ton of great restaurants and museums you could check out as well as some cool outdoors stuff a pretty short drive away.

So, apparently, we aren't the only people in our area experiencing a decorator crime wave.

Marana police (we live in the area) report that there were two thefts of potted plants and $100 worth of decorative rocks stolen from three different homes in the past week. We've lost 2 potted plants and 2 packs of smokes from our front porch in the past year...

If you're into museums there's one for just about everyone on the national mall - would definitely spend a long while walking around down there. Can also do city bus tours for cheap (the hop on/hop off ones). Zoo in Adams Morgan is alright but not crazy compared to any other zoo that I've been to. If you're trying to go out at night in the city would go to the dupont/adams morgan areas if you're looking for a loud/drunk time and Georgetown if youre thinking of chilling out a bit and more nice dinner/few drinks kind of thing.

RE: Casinos, what blackize said. If it's just to get some hands in, Delaware Park and Charlestown races are both 1-1.5 hrs away rather than the 3+ it takes to get to AC. Unless there's something specific youd like to be up there for, stick to closer by IMO. Haven't played at Delaware Park but games at Ctown are pretty good.
