I went in to the tournament room to sweat and got insta-kicked out...I was sweating my friend @ a FT last night for 5+ hrs (T. Nips) and the TD's didn't say a thing. I actually talked to them a few times and they were really cool. There were two of them there, mostly Tom is the person who was there the longest. He seemed to be really cool and never carded me or said anything to me abtou looking young etc. I go in this afternoon to sweat for a few minutes and to see how my two friends were doing and I got insta carded??? There are no signs that say you have to be 18+ to enter this area or to watch somebody play. It's not like you can gamble in the room what so ever when a tournament is already in progress. Seems like a very stupid rule to me. Not sure who kicked me out but whatever.

Depending on whether or not 1 of my 2 friends makes it to day 2 in the $1K I'll be leaving either tonight or tomorrow night (maybe even saturday morning if one of them goes really deep.) Was a really fun trip anyway!

Does anybody know the ruling on this? My friend is semi deep in the 1K and has a huge stack. I'd love to go rail but I don't really feel like getting kicked out yet again. Why would there be an age rule in a banquet room where MTTs are going on and it's impossible to gamble in?

Edit: Mike would you mind giving a ruling on this subject?

PS: I hear you're the coolest TD mike, would love to meet you imo. Tom seemed very awesome as well. The dealers were also extremely cool and very good dealers.

My Day

11. Oversized Chip A single oversized chip will be considered a call if the player does not
announce a raise. If a player puts an oversized chip into the pot and
states raise but does not state the amount, the raise will be the maximum
allowable up to the size of that chip. After the flop, an initial bet of a
single oversized chip without comment will constitute the size of the bet.
To make a raise with a single oversized chip a verbal declaration must be
made before the chip hits the table surface

12 No Disclosure
No Advice
One Player to a
Hand
Players are obligated to protect the other players in the tournament at all
times. Therefore, players, whether in the hand or not, may not:
1. Disclose contents of live or folded hands
2. Advise or criticize play before the action is complete
3. Read a hand that hasn’t been tabled
The one-player-to-a-hand rule will be enforced.

30 Verbal Declarations Verbal declarations in turn are binding. Action out of turn may be binding
and will be binding if the action to that player has not changed. A check,
call, or fold is not considered action changing.

31 Exposing Cards A player who exposes his cards with action pending may incur a penalty,
but will not have a dead hand. The penalty will begin at the end of the
hand.

36 Etiquette Violations Repeated etiquette violations will result in penalties. Examples include
unnecessarily touching other players cards or chips, delay of the game,
and excessive chatter. Players are required to act in turn.

40 Playing the Board A player must show both cards when playing the board in order to get
part of the pot.

$1k person, not everyone verified with me though, team who cashes for the most $$ wins

i think 4 teams of 4 is ideal

Me, Randal, Chewy, Zugwat, Shaundeeb (captain?), Goggles (captain?), Junglen, Stealthmunk (unconfirmed but hes a degen...captain?), Brent, Charder, Gobbo, Joel (unconfirmed), Actionjeff (unconfirmed), Rob (unconfirmed), Clayton (unconfirmed), theuniverse, JPOSU (unconfirmed), Tufat (unconfirmed but asian blood)

we should try to get the draft done tomorrow night lemmw know if you def wanna do it or i forget anyone

edit: jordankickz and or agame?
