I'd venture a guess that #'s are up and not just due to the lower buy in which will award 50% more packages on average.

For the 1st time in a few years Stars seems to have put some money into the PCA. Alternate methods to get new players qualifying via phase sats has proven successful.

+1 please stars look at changing the satelite schedule to pre WCOOP. So many regularly aren't able to win sunday million seats on sundays anymore because the selection is so poor everything has been chopped.

OBV phase sats are awesome and attracts a bunch of recreational ; final phase on sunday however is a pain in the ass, why don't run it on monday like most day2s on other stars(.it/.fr) are structured? Having a random phase2 popups on sunday mid sessions is painful and costs us a lot of table space(and you,stars, rake).

I don't know, i grinded a lot of weekly 700s last year, and this year most of em aren't running. Also sundays sats are giving less package then last year, however numbers could be anyway(phase sats as said are a huge improvement).

There's no doubt that the daily PCA sats are suffering and partly because of phase tourneys; but this isn't the root cause of it. The root cause is a rec player logs in and see's the lineup of opponents and says no ty due to the field strength. So that same rec player may want to get in on the cheap via a sub-sat. But again he is faced with a daunting lineup in the sub-sats. And even if we assume (which I don't) that the 25% fields comprised of Lithuanians aren't colluding it would make a rec question it and discourages a lot of them from even trying. Poles taking up 20% of the field doesn't help either.

But still the dailies do run but the problem for Pstars is there are too many repeat winners which doesn't increase the PCA fields sizes.

In fairness to Pokerstars they are reduced to two options.

1) Players can only win 1 package and can't reg for others.
2) Introduce phase sats at a low enough price point to discourage repeat winners.

They've elected to go with the second and for the PCA I don't blame them.

The other reason for an organic decrease in numbers is just the ecosystem. All tours are down due to less overall players, recs are more prudent with their money and Spin and Go's have syphoned a lot of money out of the system.

I don't really think that's true. Casual players who don't play so much will recognise fewer screen names and even if they do, the poorer your own understanding of the game, the harder it is to determine who is playing well or not by playing with them. I'd imagine if someone fires up the client just wanting to play there is little to no game selection happening.

Yea i really think its more of a buy-in selection, they wanna spend X so they fire X. Yesterday i was railing super tuesday 20 left and there was a guy doing LOL-thing (more then a bad player, seemed to not know rules etc) and when asked to he said he started playing some months ago and still learning; someone said "lol this is a pretty high buy-in for learning" , and he replied something like "that's what i meant to spend today".

Anyway PCA sats were suffering before phase tournament too, in my opinion the lack of GTD on sats and the lowering of the pack value made some reg miss it... and when u need 1-2 more people for a tournament to start that's a pretty big difference, most people like to late reg it to see if there are enough soft spots; we are probably talking about half of the weekly not firing.

The structure for the new phase satellites for EPT/Eureka (and probably the others too, I haven't checked) is in big need of fixing.

Phase 2 is supposed to start at 600/1200 bb, while the average stack of the tourney is less than 20k.
Avg would be an exact 20k if all sats would qualify exactly 10% of players, but i.e I have passed through today in a sat with 12 entries, that qualified 2 players. Since they are always rounding up the number of people moving forward, the avg will probably be closer to 15-16k. Also, worth mentioning that the satellite I played has finished at 200/400. While I realize that bigger fields might take longer to reach 10% left, I am quite sure not often the 1k bb is reached. It would be great if the blinds would start at 400/800, giving an avg stack of roughly 20bb.

Please move the satellites to phase 1s for the aussie millions (don't know if its the same for other phase 1s) back to finish in time for the tournament, or reduce the min players needed to run. I've been registered for 4x $82 phase ones over the past few days that haven't run, with plenty of players about to win seats in sats.

please move the 10r and 21r hyper satellites away from the :55 mark.
Most people have already been grinding +6 hours and the 5minute break is precious at that point

please reduce 7$ 3x sat to thrill to min 6, it has never overlay but gets cancelled half of the time, when it once started >50 Players gonna play it, min 9 is just to much.

same for 16$ R to B162. reduce minplayer or even better reduce buyin to 8+ (8r to 162 are runing pretty good).

Both changes are easily to do and would benefit your product, ffs is Anybody of your Sat-team still reading here.

I don't get why phase 2 sats are all on next sunday besides EPT Prague wich is skipping and directly goes to the first sunday of december? Kinda stupid too considering how much extra volume another phase 2 would get the very last sunday before the EPT Start.

Plus phase 2 "date" should be a abit, i regged without checking, was planning on playing live next sunday(Eureka) and i wouldn't have played a phase for that day.

The Big $55 satellites used to appear in the lobby 2 hours before the target started; now it is only 5 or 10 mins before....can you please have them in the lobby 1 hour before hand like you have done with all the new additions; this is the only MTT $55+ that I know of that runs 6max cash hyper satellites that doesn't have the game in the lobby at least 1 hour before the start of the target

satellites to weekender should run longer with the structure, you should add some 109T/55T that end during latereg period to increase player pool, the satellites for the tournament start so late that most recs/regs cant play them

Can we get sattelites to the live 25k tourneys in PCA, Monaco, ect?

I noticed a pretty severe error the other night when playing a 320 pca hyper satellite, a couple players registered at the end of late reg, the payouts changed so more players were payed than players remained. This is basically fraud because money will be taken out of the prize pool and also the person who just busted was playing unde false pretenses.
This cannot happen, you must solve this immeadiately

Offering something for players to use their Step G tickets would be much appreciated by all, preferably before Jan 1 as the new year completely screws the value of them (currently 700vpps per ticket)

Dublin Satellites are already on the offering. I see no reason why 2.1k euro 6max sats can't be rolled out as of now like they have for all other EPT stops.
