Did you not enjoy doing that more than grinding poker?

That would be frggin awesome. I'd definitely go for SNE next year if they did that.

Have a great time Ilion. Long plan journeys are quite pleasant imo, just watch a load of movies, drink some wine and chill out. +1 on taking some photos for us.

Considering how awful the FTP client is this is probably a blessing in disguise.

I am never ordering a paper check from PS again. 9 days and counting. It's quicker to just wait for the 84 hour e-check window to re-open.

Stars checks over $1k have never failed to be couriered to my apartment in less than 48hrs fwiw. I would say the opposite is true. Amounts smaller than $1k should be echecked if you need the money in a timely manner.

It might depend where they are being shipped.... My echecks are taking 24 hours to be deposited in my account. Any amount.

So I have been living in South Carolina for almost 4 years now and I have to say, southern accents(especially on guys) still tilt the living **** out of me.

Well, the same is generally true for me as well. But I've experienced some timing hangups with echecks and none with couriered paper checks. I suppose that could just be my own experience though.

Is there any fee from withdrawing with echecks? Idk why I never realized I could do this and getting paper checks is kind of meh.

No, but you need to do a successful deposit before it's an option. Just stick the minimum up there then you're good to go for six months (at which point u need to make another deposit).

I've been waiting some time on two checks as well. Must be some processor issues or something, hasn't been this slow before. Might be more common going forward...

Are we thinking paper checks are the way to go after Dec 1?

Don't you lot just do bank transfer over there? Or is that what echeck means? Straight into my bank in a few days no probs in good ol Blighty.

no, there was alot more prep work and grading crap that I hated, but class time with the kids was fun. teaching freshman earth science and drivers ed wasn't nearly as much fun as teaching physics to seniors and juniors and took up 5/6th of my day. so no, I like what I'm doing now.

eChecks is what I have been using. Pretty fast and reliable. I don't have to bother checking the mail either. I'm not sure how viable an option that'll be in the coming weeks however.
11-17-2009 , 09:01 PM
Yeah I was wondering what e-checks are too. Over here I just cash out to my bank account and 3 days later the money's there. Is this the same thing?
11-17-2009 , 09:27 PM
I've been using bank wires since the first paper check procceser mess with no problems. it does have more fees though.

Yeah I deposited via my checking account and eChecks withdraws directly to that account. Its really clean and simple.
