Also, ran a 10-mile race on Sunday morning in a shade over 66 minutes - old man is in half-way decent shape. However, I think staying up late that night and going out til 2 a.m. might not have been the best short-term recovery approach, hence said first bad cold in a long time...

i went to the strip club alone last night and had the craziest time ever at one. mostly just have 2-3 girls lapdancing me simultaneous with LOTS of rule-breaking, etc.

but heres the REAL reason im posting. they were telling me business has been slower on weekends because theyre filming a reality TV show on stripping and lots of married/professional men wont come in during that for obvious reasons. I freaked out and said HELL YEA IM COMING IN THIS WEEKEND!! I just cant think of anything MORE hilarious than being on tv in a reality show about strippers (not guaranteed that id actually be on camera ever, but likely enough...)

not surprisingly my family thinks im crazy (i always share everything i do with them, not weird at all for me to tell them all the details of me goin to strip clubs or with hookers in amsterdam, etc...im a very open person i guess)

what do you guys think? i need some encouragement/confidence so i dont chicken out

Btw I went to Spearmint Rhino last Friday and spent $2k to tell some stripper my life story for 4 hours while I was rolling my balls off. I think there was a little rule-breaking but I don't really remember. Not sure I could have found a way to get less bang for my buck short of just being flat-out robbed. Also ditched my friends and had to apologize for it all weekend. Just now pulling out of the black depression over that one. You'd think I'd learn since about 4/5ths of my Vegas trips have had a very similar story.

I ran Cal International in Sacramento in December 2001. It's supposed to be a race where you can run a good time - problem being I picked the year it was pouring rain, freezing cold, and a 20-30 mph was in your face/blowing from the side the whole way. Spent the last 8 miles stopping to stretch out the cramps about 15 times, still managed to finsih in a little over 3 1/2 hours (was probaly in 3 hour shape). Would like to do another marathon, but probably not for another year or two. Want to run a fastish 10k Thanksgiving morning if my body is willing, and do another triathlon in early May...

I'd be kinda leary. A lot of those reality shows will do some shady things to you after you sign the release. I imagine the producers that are producing a reality show on strippers aren't going to be looking out for you.

Yeah I've heard from a couple different sources that these reality TV type producers just try to bombard whoever is on the show with alcohol so they will act crazy. I'm sure it won't be a problem for you to drink in a strip club, but if you want to get on TV they're going to expect you to not just be some average joe.
