i think the quiz is ok when you start learning icm, but reviewing tournaments is way better

since you actually know the opponents (wizhud helps with vpip/pfr) you can adjust their ranges according to your read which helps me alot more at improving.

The quiz doesn't show their overcall ranges until after you make your decision. As we know it can give crazy ranges, so a lot of 3-4 handed spots will be shown as wrong until you adjust the overcall ranges. Well, they will still be counted as wrong by the quiz but at least you can see if you were right.

You spend so much time trying to get the quiz to ask sensible questions and could've been making much better use of your time.

Calling all-ins from the BB are the only ones I found easy to input.

What are some good tips for re-adjusting to full ring MTT play (live donkaments) after grinding 6max turbos online?

I think this one got missed.

Either he's an idiot, or a huge misclick/facepalm. No way a good player decided fold was best.

do you guys bother to filter by blind level in HEM in the 18mans? or is there usually too little data to make it worth it?

if you do it, what levels do you use? google search is yielding nothing

I dunno, if this is the first time he's stood up to you, I'd probably give him credit for a better hand, but this could be a leak.

To clarify, I'm inferring that the villain has been passive and hasn't played-back to your aggressiveness much. I think that passive players will often wait for a real hand before playing-back for the first time. And if he hasn't seen you fold to a raise recently, the all-in may seem like a value play to him.

If he's reraised or called then donked a couple of times recently, I'd weight his range more toward FD / 5-x / air and call.

I would fold that Sheepr without a specific read , it's not like we have a huge amount invested and really only hoping that he's doing this with a four or a five often enough because we're not priced in versus his range given the times he shows up with a FD and overs, Q or better.

If it does turn out that he's prone to this kind of line he'll be easy to stack later anyway.

Hey guys, I staked a buddy $25 to play 500MTT's at 25c (45 & 90) for 53% to help him out. Ok, so I am going to undertake the same challenge. A stipulation I made in the stake was to post two hands per day (which i'll also do.) Idealy I'ld enjoy our hands being reviewed by the same person if it's possible. Please identify where we should post our hands and should it be a continuos thread? The ssmtt response was to close my thread with out an answer to this.

I am RELick009, the stakee is 'thepokerfish.' I/we are undisciplined and unworldly. We are both unstudied but are beating the 25c micros and tabing upto 12 at a time. (screen limitations.) RE: free software to help?

WE want to crush these 500 games and return a r.o.i in the 70% or better.
Briefly im tag and he's a semi lag with hand unpreditability. We aim high so to get us through the rubbish and onto posting make a quick indication to some JJ, QQ, Ato+ and 44+ call/shove spots atthis limit and an appropriate strategy forum we should start reading.

Thanks guys and lastly, if oe person will stick with us for 2000 hand post we can provide the specific info/reads that you needto best help you answer.

It's possible to run over/under expectation for several K in games, that's not to say you aren't beating them for 15% especially if you're playing a small number of tables in sets but it'd be at the high end of what's achievable.

Playing say 2/3k more will give you a better idea of where you stand and studying hard, trying to improve will keep you in best stead.

just started playing some of the 1 table knock out SNGs i have never read any info on these? any topics someone thinks would help i would love to hear about!!

what sort of number of ko's can one decent reg expect?
in my 45 games i have collected 33 +6 ko's (the 6 being sngs I WON and kept my own bounty)

what r.o.i can we expect for a decent reg to produce before factoring kos? i.e how pokertracker/shark scope work it out.? are they slight winners/break even/slight losers

my calculations are if you can break exactly even (possible?) without ko's then winning 0.75 ko bountys per game would produce a 10% r.o.i

      in the 43 games i played, i lost without bounties at a -7% r.o.i
but after adding in the ko's would equal somewhere around +8% r.o.i overall.
(running slightly below ev in this ridic small sample. imo)

      cliffs

what roi should a DECENT reg expect before bounties are calculated?

how many knockouts per game can a decent reg expect??
