Downtime and Disconnect/Lag Issues thread Downtime and Disconnect/Lag Issues thread

So either my timing is terrible, or ACR is terrible...

I downloaded ACR today and was able to play in play money games and look at cash tables. So I went ahead and deposited to the site. Money was loaded into the cashier and I opened a table. First few tables I opened didn't show anyone sitting and were essentially blank. Then I was able to see players and action at a table and it allowed me to sit. Couldn't post a blind. Thought maybe it was a software issue with downloading. Restarted computer and opened it back up. Was able to sit at a table and post the BB and get cards. Then it froze up again.

It looks like others are having trouble, so maybe it's not just my computer or the software? We will see...

same exact issue/response from site. been going on for the better part of an hour now

feels like someone is overloading servers during the Peak Hours to minipulate the Beast Rakerace.. this happens mainly on Friday-Sunday..

Ugg. The only reason I even downloaded and deposited on ACR was because I couldn't get the Ignition software to work...

rofl this is dumb, I can double click people's names to get their information and that shows up instantly, but I can never play a hand.

Yea I was told it was a server in my region and then told it was an ISP issue and nothing to do with the client or their servers. Doesn't make any sense. Other people in the JPs not affected though because they were able to blind me down.

It was working for about 20 minutes and now it's flaking out again, lololololol.

Internet working fine, had a friend login to my name and he could play. For some reason when I log in and try to pull up my table there is an issue going on. No idea what it is.

Internet is great, everything else I do works. I can navigate the lobby, but not register in any tournaments, and chip leader in 2 sit'n gos. 1st of 3 in both 9 mans and everything locks up? This is just getting ridiculous...

Not good for tourneys this sunday connection wise, its on our end but others around the country/world having the problem?
11-14-2016 , 10:14 AM
Just to clear up the situation. We did have roughly between 100 - 150 complaints yesterday of connection issues. It was NOT anything to do on our end. Many ISP's in the states were having issues which led to selected few having issues.

Again it was nothing our end.

But, why was the issue only affecting connectivity to tournaments? I was connected to the site with no lag, had no issues with the internet etc. So can you please do a better job of explaining how it was an issue on our end?

Can you provide details on which ISPs were having issues, what those issues could be and who we can contact to make sure this isn't happening again?

I am very hesitant to load up a set of JPs this morning because I have no way of knowing if the issue is fixed and I've been told that I absolutely will not be refunded if the tournaments stop responding.

I supposedly gave you slightly wrong info.. Its not the ISP's.

It was the carries for those ISP's that were having latency issues.

I am no IT technician so i asked and got a response that i could understand.

If the carrier is having latency and with tournaments there is a lot of info going backwards and forwards. With the latency they are experiencing this will result in packets of data getting lost which in turn will affect your connection to tournaments and to the site.

With just browsing the web its just you receiving data so it doesnt really get affected.

I really hope this helps and you can understand

Yea, I understand what you're saying, and I'm not IT person either... but I've also been able to connect to a mass multiplier game server (which I tested during this issue) and had no lag issues. So, on my end, I was able to send and receive large amounts of data with no issues outside of the tournaments. That's what makes me nervous. It very much feels like there's no way it can be an issue with the internet on my end, but that's what I'm being told.

At the end of the day, the $30 in entries I ended up losing isn't going to be a dealbreaker for me. I'm just apprehensive about this happening again. I'm typically 4-6 tabling JPs and losing 100% of my equity in the occasional full set will kill my thin edge in these.

I to get what your saying and had it been on our end i would of suspended all tournaments and cancelled and refunded if needed.

This link you can see carriers in the states and if they are having issues

I was finally able to play for about an hour earlier without any issue, but it just started lagging/freezing up. The website that Winning_TD posted shows that my internet provider is healthy. I have a gaming laptop and have never had any issues on other poker sites, streaming HD video, etc.

Is this the norm on ACR, or does it only happen once in a while? The software seems ok, but constant lag issues annoy me more than getting sucked out on by a 1 outer.
11-14-2016 , 02:58 PM
I had exactly the same issues yesterday into last night. Jumped on now and ran up a nice stack and now lag or kicked off for 30 min now. I am also playing on your biggest competitors site with ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES or lags. I've lost over $200 in the past 24 hours on ACR, NOT related to my Internet connections or issues on my end, etc. This is totally unacceptable. Time to perhaps search for better service.

Have to say its on your end TD I have had zero packet loss and 100% network availability for the last for hours.
I lost 10k chips on the bubble w/o being able to take any action at all.

When less than 5% is affected it really isnt us.

We have our developers and IT team checking when we get reports.

I've been down this road a few times now with ACR. A couple of times tourneys were cancelled and some money refunded, other times such as this, not.. Time to say goodbye.
11-14-2016 , 03:35 PM
I cancel them if we are having issues our end.

I cannot cancel everytime some players are affected due to their ISP.

I do what is right and fair. Obviously in your eyes if your affected it may not seem like it and i get it but there isnt much i can do.

Just happened again with AK suited. K Flop...Disconnected LOL... Cant wait to pull out my money and never return. I've been down this road a few times at ACR.

Funny that my other tables that are on another site are working just fine.. no Lags. so.. Bye. Sorry. Thank you for the response here but it's not just me, it appears to be many other people as well. I cannot stay on the site that does this. Maybe I will try back in a few months.
