Well they wouldn't be terrorizing the roster at large or trying to take over, just upset because they think they should get a shot at the big roster and because the authority is wicked. And it might not even be a long term thing; you could even have them off Raw until they are called up for good after a month or two. Like a glimpse into the future before they hit the Rumble and Mania storylines.

Yeah, probably more ECW invasion (if anyone remembers them showing up on Raw in the crowd in the late 90's) than NWO. But I'd take either at this point to straight up......CENA WINS!

It is a bit odd that Cena got his ass kicked so bad by Brock, and Brock is still the champion, and Cena gets booed by half the people, yet they are still doing the 'babyface territory' booking thing where everything is designed around seeing the top face triumph 90% of the time. They could have had Cena become depressed, or have a losing streak, or have a new attitude, but instead he just seems to have carried on as normal except he isn't the champion.

Tried to get the free month of the network. Asks for credit card details.

So rather than being a trial to see if it is worth it, it seems they are hoping people give thier details and forget to cancel.

That put me right off. I know its only 9.99 but I am the sort of person who would keep forgetting.

Would rathe have had it actually be free for a month so I can decide if I want to sign up.

That's extremely standard for free trials.

You can set it to not auto-renew.

Yeah, same thing here. Feel it's too much of an effort to provide CC details for something I never intend to get charged for. Also fear that I'll spend way too much time watching wrestling and do nothing productive at all like when I had the on Demand version for a few months once.

I share iso's lack of excitement for 55-year-old Sting...but I will say, that Crow theme of his is so elite that it still might cause me to mark a bit.

It's almost guaranteed to be a cool moment when he walks out. Everything else is a gamble.

Spoiler:
"The one guy who will never come to WWE" coming to WWE is going to be an amazing moment regardless but it is sort of like the Red Sox signing Jeter 15 years from now.

Nope, don't care.

Just please keep him away from anything actually entertaining.

Oh don't kid yourself, if the Sting rumor is true then he's coming in at main event level and at least initially taking over the show. I tend to believe the rumor because it fits the bill as being a hook for the network for a decent number of people.

Not terribly happy with it, but hopefully it isn't horrible.

Yeah, I know. Really not excited about it at all.

I'll try to view this with an open mind, but I'm struggling to find a scenario where I give a damn. I'll give WWE a fair opportunity to prove me wrong.

I'm not sure I see him as a good authority figure, but I'd probably prefer that to him wrestling.

Entire arena is mystified as reports of seeing Sting in the rafters are brought up throughout the broadcast, though he hasn't been caught on camera yet. Finally in the main event a camera locks on to him, watching the match. Tensions flare as all of the viewers at home are glued to their seats, wonder why he is there and how he will get involved in the match. Finally the match ends, CENAWINSLOL, and fans are confused because Sting was not used at all. Cena's music however is cut short as Sting descends from the rafters into the ring with a microphone. About a minute of cheers go by without Sting saying a word. Finally he puts the mic up to his face and says

"I'd like to thank of all the WWE Universe for watching this free trial of WWE Network."

Hogan's music hits and he comes down to the ring. He and Sting have a discussion about the Network only being $9.99 the next month, not quite free but still a great deal nonetheless. They also show some clips of the new WWE game and mention a $5 off promo code to all WWE Network subscribers to buy the new game. Cut to black and then:

It's down to Cena and Erick Rowan against the entire Team Authority. Rusev has Rowan in the accolade and it looks like he's about to tap when Cena runs in. Right when it looks like Cena is about to break up the submission he stops and gives Rowan the "You Can't See Me" taunt. Rowan proceeds to tap out and Cena celebrates with Team Authority. Cole ask "does this mean that Cena is now with the Authority?" even though everyone already knows it does. As Cena is celebrating the camera pans to show Sting up in the rafters. The audience pops, but their once excited faces turns to confused faces when Sting is shown dressed in his suffer gimmick. Over the next few months Sting makes run-ins during the main event of Raw, but every Raw runs out of time before anything happens. This all leads to Sting vs. Cena at Wrestlemania. During their match Cena beats the **** out of Sting for 20 minutes with Sting getting little to no offense in. Late in the match Cena hits the AA on Sting and gets the three count by the ref. The newly reinstated CM Punk who was announced as special inforcer of the match, rules that it was a fast count by the ref, even though it clearly wasn't; and that the match must continue. Sting then hits the scorpion death drop on Cena and beats him. The entire roster comes out to celebrate.

JR is implying the WWE leaked the Sting info themselves to get more buys/subs. Orton and Reigns are apparently a lock for SS also.

I think it's more likely Sting will be there just to be there, not get involved in the main event. I think Orton will get involved in the main event, as he is also rumored to be there as well. Maybe they will have a ton of run-in shenanigans though.

Only thing that is a guarantee is that Kane gets eliminated early so he can continue his tradition of interfering in every goddamn match ever.
