Oh come on old man, EC always delivers

My favourite EC moment was RVD almost killing Triple H with a botched frog splash.

I like the theory of Elimination Chamber, and don't really mind the idea behind the gimmick PPV. My complaints about it are:

1) I'm not quite the purist that LKJ is, but I really don't like these matches where the champion could potentially be at a disadvantage relative to a given challenger. If you really have to have the EC format for the title, the champ should always be last one in.

2) As mentioned above, the timing is atrocious.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if it was a #1 contender's type spectacle that took the place of the HIAC or TLC PPVs.

hahaha. Yeah I remember that. On a related note is that what killed RVD's career? He went from that main event to the tag team division and midcard for years until they brought ECW back for a short flame.

he was ECW and WWE champ in 06 and a week or two after winning the title from Cena he was caught in a car with Sabu with weed. Within a couple weeks, both titles were won off of him.

Read a rumor that Angle resigned with TNA so I guess we're not getting the big Angle/Rusev WM match......unless TNA is out of business by then.

Another elbow surgery for DB, guessing it's TJ this time.

I read that WWE offered him a full time contract because they knew he couldn't pass the physical.

Would have been pretty cool to hear his music hit during a Rusev promo.

Technically it's not Angle's music, it's the Patriot's.

From Meltzer.

Quote:
Brock Lesnar’s next scheduled WWE appearance is being advertised for December. He is being advertised for the December 29 edition of RAW in Washington, DC.

While there have been rumors that John Cena will fight Brock Lesnar at TLC in December, the plan in WWE is still for the title fight to happen at the Royal Rumble in January. Cena won the right to fight Lesnar at Hell in a Cell, and with Royal Rumble not until January, rumors began that WWE may do Cena/Brock earlier, but right now the plan remains to have the match at the Rumble.

WWE has been advertising Roman Reigns for December live events but it currently seems like Reigns may not be back until after the Royal Rumble.

WWE’s plan is reportedly still for Lesnar to retain against Cena at the Rumble then fight Reigns at Wrestlemania 31.
Sounds great.

I've always been in favor of this thing where the world champion rarely wrestles, but damn they need to open up the pocketbook and at least get more appearances from him. They've accomplished the part I want - that it feels special when the champ wrestles - but him never appearing takes too much company focus off of the world title.

Also the champ not wrestling at a major show like Survivor Series is a bummer; there's only four of them, so you'd hope that would be workable. But honestly, who knows what WWE has to go through just to get Brock to show up.

****, they don't even need to get Brock to show up. They just need Heyman out there reminding us why he exists and giving us a reason why he's not there. Brock's spectre should be looming over everything, and it's not really and that's weird.

That they haven't even addressed Brock not being there storyline wise makes me wonder if the issue is more him not wanting to be there than the WWE holding off and they can't write around it because they don't know what he's going to.

Not excited about Roman/Brock. I like Roman, but unless they have him win the rumble and build like crazy to Mania, and he gets a lot more interesting in the ring, that's very meh.

Is survivor series still even a major show?

People debate about this. It's a fair question. I still think that the WWE views it as one.

It's a recognizable name to casuals but it hasn't been booked like a major show in a long time. It's the perfect event to give away for free because it's probably the lowest drawing of the top 4. I'm glad that this year the main event is an actual SS match though. Off the top of my head I can't remember the last time that was the case.

I wasn't sold on Roman-Brock months ago and I still am not now, because Roman hasn't done anything for months due to injury. They are putting a lot of stock in him coming back and being really popular. I think WWE staff may have confused some of the huge pops he got at the Royal Rumble last year when him and Batista were the last two left. IMO, a majority of people wanted Reigns to win simply because they'd rather see anyone but Batista win.

In the months before WM31 I wonder if they will consider having to make the main event another triple threat match if Reigns doesn't go over with the crowd. Or, just accept the fact that Lesnar is over as **** and have him win at WM31. If he is only defending the title in the major PPVs, having him win at WM31 doesn't seem to be that big of a deal unless his contract is up or something

I think it's more than the WWE confused Roman pops with Shield pops.

Brock's contract is up at WM. There have been no reports about him signing or even talks about signing again. I hope they can come to a deal though. <3 Brock and tbh I probably stop watching at all if he doesn't sign.

Brock makes so few appearances, why does he have to have 4 matches with Cena? I'd rather see Brock/Orton or even Brock/Sheamus. Something, anything new. I don't even mind Brock/Reigns as a program, but just not as THE program at WM that pushes Reigns to the top.

Interesting, this article is getting a TON of clicks/shares. I recently found a website http://radurls.com/?i=toprad that shows news articles based on facebook and twitter shares, and this is the current number 1. There really is something about these returning stars wrestling one more match.

So what happened with Sting?

I heard he was signed, they had him in an ad for the video game but he has still not appeared on TV. What is happening?

I mean he is not getting any younger
