My favorite Jeff Hardy match of all time.

Hardy/Taker ladder match on Raw is still one of my favorite tv matches of all time. I think that match is one of JR's top 5 calls ever, but yeah for the most part Hardy sucked.

That was a good match but they still suck so much that their few memorable matches won't make up for it.

In case you still didn't think Cena was winning -

I'm surprised WWE have let this match leak twice, I can't remember the last time they let a spoiler filled poster or promo leak.

Just the fact that it leaked means they could change it up. You can do that match without the strap on Cena.

Except for that poll WWE did a few weeks ago about who we'd like to see Lesnar face for the championship. Not that the fans' voices are always heard but it's pretty clear that Lesnar is getting a title match at SS.

I just need enough to rationalize some doubt in my mind for the Battleground ME.

To be fair, even doubt won't save that main event.

It would be an abortion if Cena lost, which makes me not even want to see that match because I sure don't want to root for him.

Yeah LKJ is right. The main event has just been booked horribly. The only thing that could make it some what interesting is if Cena won by pinning Reigns.

Seth Rollins is not hurt, he is just a selling king. Better than Dolph.

Dolph sells in a way that almost over sells some times. Rollins sells is a more realistic way.

So excited for this match. Booked right I could see it being the WWE match of the year.

I think one thing us internet/smarky types might not appreciate about the ME is how much of it was about establishing Roman as a top level singles guy . I think he was already over with us (but not us alone to be sure), but just by putting him on the the mic and in the ring with these guys without Dean and Seth they're trying to validate him. The other three are so solid in their spots that they're not expending any effort to do anything for them beyond really minor seeds of distention. It's really boring, but kinda get the point of it.

In an ideal work where the Network means PPV buys aren't as important as a target, I'd love to see them either simply have less and take more time to do more complex builds, or move away from the current model where the TV shows exist so much in service of the PPVs that they become super skippable.
