speaking of MVP's suckitude: Nobody is buying his excitement when he runs out all jacked up, and he's just not getting a pop. He was a good heel, and I really hope they have a plan for him.
And wtf is up with these moves that are just an elbow/punch with a little dance or w/e? I'm talking Cena's "you can't see me" punch, MVP's "ballin'" punch Kofi's little dancy leg drop, even Scotty Too Hotty's Worm drop. These moves tilt me to no end. Like srsly, why does that hurt more than other moves? It's like Hogan's lethal leg drop. I mean it obv started with the Rock and the people's elbow, which was greatly successful as a pump the crowd tool, but does everybody need one?

And give John Morrison a push ffs.

Morrison is getting a decent push. He's getting over pretty well as a face on Smackdown, winning almost weekly. Got a PPV win two shows ago also.

I'd expect gold around his waist by year's end.

dammit! I wished I didn't click on that spoiler, just couldn't resist.

I'm really loving Smackdown ever since the draft. The last several weeks has been tremendous, last week's was awesome. Can't wait to see this week's.

I wish I could even see Smackdown. F'n DirecTV doesn't carry whatever channel it's on, and I can't tie my over-the-air antenna into my DirecTV DVR to record it. UGH.

Not as good I realize, but Hulu puts it up on Saturday. They censor weapon shots, like just normal chair shots to the back and stuff, which is ridiculous...but otherwise it works fine.

Spoiler:
I didn't read any clear indication of Punk turning heel in the spoilers. If anything, Jeff Hardy was acting more heelish than usual

Spoiler:
Even if they try to make Hardy the heel, it won't work. There's no way he will go over.

OK, maybe that spoiler was premature. **** dirtsheets. <grumble> Sorry guys.

"Premature" is all though, not actually wrong I bet. I still think that what you're saying will happen on Monday's three-for-all.

should have happened at the PPV imo. Would have been sooooooo easy to do.

Is Stephanie still the head writer for Raw? Pretty much explains why it consistently stays so awful. If this was any other network TV show, the head writer would've been axed a long time ago for putting out such a bad product week after week.

Such a big difference with Raw and Smackdown right now, it's almost like it's a competely different show. On Raw you have Cena (who I totally despise) pandering to the fans with his fart and poopy jokes and Vickie rolling in hog pen slop, while on smackdown we get a breathtaking 20 min main event with Edge and Mysterio.

I'm very happy with the CM Punk developments. I'm so excited to see him go back to his roots. Too bad Smackdown has such a shi.tty time slot on Fridays and people don't get to see it.

Part of it is simply that the vast majority of good workers got stacked onto Smackdown. Not necessarily the star power, that might still be edge to Raw, but the good workers are largely on SD. Who's the best worker on Raw? There are some good ones, but are there any actually great ones? I bet that if they flipped rosters, even with poor writing they'd do a good show with the current SD roster.

It's too bad that the better show is the taped one though, that's for sure. The unpredictability aspect of the live show on Monday is great.

Why do people put spoilers in the threads? Yes i know you dont have to click it but this obviously leads to discussion about the spoiler and thats just silly. DUCY? Thank you.

I did it because I expect people who are discussing something spoilerish to have the same courtesy for those who don't want it spoiled.

FFS what was in the spoiler text wasn't even really a spoiler. In fact I will spoil it now.

In the WWE universe, where there are only heels and faces, the guy who used his money in the bank clause to take the belt off of a beat up face, potentially might turn heel.

That is not a spoiler, that is common sense.

LOL! I didn't watch the PPV but I heard that Punk got booed heavily when
he came out with briefcase after Hardy just went through a 20 min ladder match and won the title.

RIP Mitsuhara Misawa, he died today at the age of 46.

He only appeared in America twice that I know of, so he's probably not known to many Americans. But this guy is a legend in Japan. He was Tiger Mask II until he ripped off his mask before a match to start his own legacy. He was in the AJPW main event scene from 1990-2000 and then in the Pro Wrestling NOAH main event scene from 2004-2009. He took part in 24 five-star matches, 5 matches of the year, and won the wrestler of the year award 3 times (1995, 1997, 1999) by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter standards. (As far as I can tell, WON is the most respected wrestling guide available in English).

He didn't really have a gimmick other than "tough guy," but that's the way AJPW/NOAH was/is. He was known for grimacing and his lime-green ring attire. His famous moves were the rolling elbow, the emerald flowsion (AKA emerald fusion to No Mercy fans) and variations of the Tiger Driver. If you've ever heard of the Ganso bomb (the Hangman's DDT in No Mercy), Misawa was the first guy to take it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iQ1PFkXlV0
