They did a similar work to end the Beaver Cleavage gimmick.

First, the introductory vignette.

Beaver Cleavage Vignette #1

Then, the "accident"

Beaver Cleavage Breaks Kayfabe

About the "Anvil" vs Jay Lethal angle. Could it be that they're going to have him lose to 'legend' after 'legend' until he decides to go back to being Lethal and drop the Macho Man gimmick?

I'm thinking they may be setting up for the REAL Macho Man to make a return and take back his gimmick.

Surely the ultimate payoff on this is Hogan making his debut. That was my instant reaction to them doing this story.

For those of you hoping for the macho man to return, don't hold your breath. He looks nothing like what he used to. He put on a lot of weight and looks really old and is completely broken down. In fact he looks like santa claus right now.

LOL awesome pro wrestling draft thread in Sporting Events forum. Can't believe I missed it.

BTW, anyone saw TNA turning point last night? It looks like a really great show, been meaning to check it out. Gonna skip raw (again!) tonight and catch up on last night's PPV so I'm out.

Sounds like exactly the kind of guy TNA goes for these days.

Just finished it. Damn good PPV.

AJ, Daniels and Joe of course stole the show, Nigel and Angle put on a show and during the main event there was a huge "screw you Hogan" chant that was just perfect

Oh and Nigel at the start of the night had me burst out laughing when he referred to the fans as window lickers. One of my favourite insults ever.

I skipped through the 3D match and Steiner/Lashley match so overall i thought it was a very good PPV. Frankly if you stick that main event on the end of any PPV it automatically becomes a worthwhile PPV overall.

If i had any disappointments its that i expected a bit more from Homicide vs Red, but to judge it to the average undercard match it was solid.

Piper just dropped the F-bomb in the middle of the ring. It seems like him and McMahon are getting kind of shootish with this segment.

This has just been an abortion of a show.

Orton just flubbing the kick because the cue for Kofi's music was late, and then visually throwing his arms up like "WTF?" towards the camera (I'm guessing to the production truck).

That was awful. I haven't tuned in for nearly two months now, and this isn't winning me back over.

Why the heck wouldn't Orton have just hovered in the "ready to run and kick" position in the corner until Kofi's music played?

Things like this will always remind me of that horrendous botched ending to Hogan/Sid at WM 8.
