He bought RAW apparently and next week has no commercials.

Doesn't Vince of all people realize that in this DVR world, nobody gives a **** about commercial free. You could tell they were hoping for a HUGE pop when Trump announced that next week's raw would be commercial free...but no one made a sound.

I literally did a facepalm even though I was about 50% sure it was going to be Trump announced. RAW is a massive joke. Also next week's show will feature an insane amount of video recaps.

I especially love what they are doing with Punk. So great. I haven't been so interested in a wwe storyline in a loooong time. Punk should be full fledge heel by the time his feud with Hardy kicks into high gear, love it.

Big Yawn to HHH winning tonight. Luckily wwe apparently has finally gotten a clue with the declining PPV buyrates. Fans don't want to see HHH/Orton on a PPV for the 2000th time.

FWIW Mickie James and Maryse both use modified DDTs as finishers, and maybe The Miz too since I haven't seen him do The Reality Check in forever.

It was a good show because of one brand's people. SD had good matches all around.

I've been a HHH mark for a long time, and still love him, but Miz is the man on Raw right now. His "What are you two still doing in the ring?" line to Goldust and Hornswagle was a literal LOL. He's gold on the mic.

Yeah- any ****ty wrestler who can't really pull off (for either skill or character reasons) a decent finisher gets to use a DDT. Which of course makes them look horrible when one of the big guys uses it and only gets a one count.

Although at this point a DDT is miles better than the horrible version of the Pedigree that HHH is using. Nobody will take that move in a way that sells it anymore.

I think HHH's finisher should be his chinbreaker (I don't know what he calls it)...but it's the same thing that Jericho uses that he calls the "Code Breaker" and the ****er looks like it would HURT.

LOL, you complain about it not being a finisher anymore but when it is, it's a ****ty wrestler? Compared to the average woman in the women's division, Mickie James is one of the best (not Gail Kim/Michelle McCool/Beth Phoenix, but up there), and Maryse has drastically improved since her debut, and remember she came from the Diva search, not years of training in OVW/FCW like many of the divas. Besides, James uses a jumping spike DDT and Maryse is a snap DDT (same with Miz). Regular DDTs like Jake the Snake used are more of the momentum moves you see HHH/Cena/etc. using. Randy Orton's DDT with his opponent's feet on the ropes is pretty great.

I'm not sure what point the rest of your post is trying to make. Some DDTs are sold like death, some aren't- it's dumb. The WWE is dumb. None of these points are original or really up for debate.

TBH- there isn't much about the current WWE I enjoy- behind it being a giant amusing train wreck.

I do really enjoy good, well crafted wrestling. That is not what the WWE is currently offering.

I "WAS" Dids a few years back with regards to my feelings towards the current wwe product and just wrestling in general. I was really down on the product
so much so that I completely boycotted TNA. I can't watch that ****ty program. By bycotting TNA it saved me 2hrs of my life every week.

I was so down on wwe and wrestling in fact that I became a huge MMA fan. I've been a monster MMA fan ever since a few years ago. I know that a lot of wrestling fans don't want to give MMA a try but there's really a lot of compelling MMA programs out there nowadays. I was one of those that held out on watching MMA for the longest time but now I can honestly say I've become a much bigger MMA fan than I was ever was a wrestling fan, and that's saying a lot. MMA is very technical now and not like what it used to be.

Right now Brock Lesnar is the heavyweight champion and is the biggest star in UFC right now. He is headlining UFC 100 which is going to be a monster show. If you guys are really down on pro wrestling, I really suggest you give MMA a try. The UFC 100 card will most likely double the PPV buys what Wrestlemania did just to give you an indication. And UFC is not the only compelling mma promotion.

However I must say I'm really enjoying what's happening on Smackdown the last few months. I feel like I found my love for wrestling again. I can't see how any wrestling fan wouldn't enjoy what's happening on Smackdown right now. They are really trying hard to build new stars and the workrate has been top notch. I can't remember a time like this that I've enjoyed wrestling this much. The CM Punk angle right now is REALLY amazing and well done.

Jericho/Edge/Mysterio/Jeff Hardy has been superb and you can really tell they are working hard. Love what they are doing with Morrison (and Miz too, even though he's on Raw), R-Truth, Shelton. Smackdown has been awesome in fact, I'm so glad I'm not seeing Cena/Batista/Orton/HHH on top and keep rotating this cast like a hamster on a treadmill like on Raw.

This was very similar to a few years ago when HHH tore his quad, the wwe had to scramble and really had to find new stars. They pushed Jeff Hardy and Jericho to the main event (at that time, they were midcarders at best). Very similar to what is happening now.

god, sometimes I hate the wwe so much. If I hear another Cena promo or an announcer say the phrase "wwe universe" one more time I'm going to take a shotgun to my TV and blow it off.

CM Punk is so freakin good on the mic cutting promos but you'll never know it from watching wwe. It seems like everyone's promos are being scripted by the writers and they sound sooo horrilbe.
