I wouldn't be surprised if Daniel Bryan causes Miz and Show to lose their titles but I see that happening more on Raw than on WM.
It's also a BAD idea to listen to what dirtsheets say and base your picks on that.

For example, it's a bad idea to read Wrestling Observer/PWinsder/Pwtorch etc and base your picks on what they say. WWE has plenty of people (in creative and Vince himself) who read the Observer etc so there's an almost certainty they will be wrong come WM day.

Am I the only one confused on how ANYONE could put MITB at a spot other then 1? With 10 people in it, there are a bunch of names that could easily win, with about 4 with the best shots, easily the biggest guess out of any of the others

And as for Punk>Rey, seriously? How? There is no way they're going to make the biggest face (aside from Taker) on SD, and people would think he'd join SES? There's no way. I understand he needs time off, but easily they could beat him down afterwards, or especially the next PPV since I expect Taker/HBK taking time off, along with others soon.

I'm glad to see how close the Edge/Y2J is, I was torn on that pick, but I just don't see Edge continously going over after he has every single week pretty much. And plus we need at least 1 heel to go over in a singles match.

With Batista/Cena, I'm shocked with everyone picking Cena pretty much. I was a bit torn on that too, Cena seems obvious, but wasn't Cena supposed to be rested a while, with all his back problems?

Because CM Punk is teh awesome and Rey is just Rey. If it was up to me CM Punk would be the biggest star in WWE and be world champ.

He's got a great gimmick and has the best ring music. There is no one better than Punk right now except HBK in WWE.

I wouldn't be shocked, if Rey go's over Punk, then Punk does some bitching to Vince and gets in MITB and poof 3x sxe MITB winner.

Truth/Morrison are too new a team to get the titles like this. Show does need surgery (hence i didnt stack loads of points on it) but tag matches are easy to struggle through and he can probably get all the way to Summerslam on painkillers and good booking.

Re: Kofi, if he had been one of the first qualifiers id have probably picked him but with the deal with Orton and being the last to qual i couldnt justify picking him. He will work through to the top on his own merit however.

Punk going over isnt as crazy as it first seems since they can reject him the next SD show and just beat him down massively so he can go off and get the surgery he needs, alternately they can drag that story out for a while first since he can basically just abuse Rey for huge heat kinda like JBL did to HBK. It wasnt my pick but i fully understand it.

For Cena it seems like the easy way to end the night and send the kiddies home happy. They are hoping he can work past Summerslam before he needs to take time off and they can quickly just stack the deck on him at the next PPV with Vince embarrassed over his loss to Bret takes it all out on Cena.

One thing i considered in my picks, and Storm also brought it up, is they can easily do a huge swerve with Christian going over early in the night, Jericho retaining as the first of the three main event matches and Christian instantly walks out and cashes MITB on him straight away so Jericho can retain but the face still gets the belt. This idea has been pitched in creative meetings both ways with Edge winning and Xtian cashing to insta heel turn too. No idea where everything sits on that but even if you take a view that the face always wins the titles at Mania they can still have Jericho retain. Throw in Edge seeming strong (a WWE sign they wont win) and people still arent sure if his tendon is 100% Jericho retaining regardless of everything else seems more likely to me.

Anyway, i have high hopes for Mania and since i cant watch it live im going to put myself into a bubble on Monday until i find a copy somewhere somehow. Tbh i cant see how they can screw up Mania, it just has everything.

Punk is going to come out of this HUGE regardless of who comes out the winner at Mania. Rey is a HUGE babyface and he also needs surgery to the point people werent even sure he could make it to Mania without blowing out his knee so either he wins and then beats down Rey, wins and draws it out before beating down Rey or loses and then beats down Rey in the next PPV which is Extreme Rules as was posted above in something like last man standing he is going to pick up tremendous momentum to be number one contender after the Draft in April.

The thing is it isn't exactly clear what joining SES actually means. It could mean he gets brainwashed by Punk and actually full-on turns Straight Edge Heel (which would be awesome). It could mean Rey is forced to be with Punk but actively fights against him on everything. It could mean virtually nothing.

Obv its hard to say if this is a smokescreen or if it is legit uncertainty but its pretty sick to think the match that is selling the most buys hasnt even been booked yet and it makes me wonder if they didnt book themselves into a corner on that streak vs retirement stipulation (not that retirement is ever permanent in wrestling).

Either way Taker and HBK are still said to be taking time off after Mania regardless of the result which is basically as expected.

I think they're all far braver calls than me wasting my 1 point on a flight of fancy that is Swagger. My most questionable picks are easily CM punk at 7 points and Jericho at 6. But then again by the looks of it, if they come in, i've pretty much won. But i'm sure alot of people would think that if their top 4 picks come in, be sick if they didn't.

I don't, I just see money in Drew. There's a few people who can win it (I would be soooo happy if Shelton finally pulls through but I wouldn't put any money on it). I also don't think WWE sees Christian as much as a star as the fans think. I think it's a pretty safe pick.

Tbh, this whole card is a complete crapshoot. The only match I think is a lock the Bret/Vince match. If Vince wins I'll be stunned. The rest of the card can go any way they decide to.
