Unpopular opinion, but that Jericho/Benoit vs Austin/HHH match is massively overrated. It's good, but I don't understand why it's so revered.

If we're going with tag matches on TV, I've got that Undisputed Era vs Mustache Mountain one from NXT as the best I've seen.

Need to watch the BCG FTR one from this weekend.

Massive underdogs nobody thought would win. These weren't the guys they are now where they were thought of as top guys and could handle two legends. The crowd. The match was great. It's comparable to Punk/Cena at MitB. Without context, it's a good-great match but with context, it's fantastic.

Forgot about NXT. There have been some great ones there that I'm sure are worth a shout.

There rarely is much context in AEW, which is a shame because it would make a lot of the great in ring stuff even better.

Did Miro pop up for a show and then disappear again?

That's bc so far it's been devoted to a core group of awesome wrestlers: Punk, FTR, Starks, White, Juice, etc who have been able to put on long matches and develop storylines. On the other shows you're getting like 20 new wrestlers every week who didn't appear the week before so there's little continuity and little reason to get that invested in storylines.

Miro's appeared on 3 Collisions I believe, most recently with a promo the show before last.

I'm sure a lot of people probably liked blood and guts, but I thought it was pretty lame. I remember the last one being a lot better, and holy **** did Ibushi mail it in. The only bit of psychology that made any sense in the match is Pac and Takeshita just randomly leaving, b/c really why would they GAF about taking that type of abuse for the BCC.

MJF/Cole was again the highlight, maybe a bit corny at times, but I was highly (sports) entertained throughout. Sucks that they're already teasing the breakup, I was hoping they'd veto it with how great the crowd's reacted to them and keep it going a long while.

Glad that Jack Perry got the belt. Maybe he can use it to get his heel character over. Hook basically had the belt hostage and was doing 0 in terms of developing his character or wrestling style of anything. In fact, he's probably far worse off than before he got the title. Should probably just go to the indies for a bit and learn how to work long matches and then come back. I'm sure he'd still be red hot when he reappears.

The Jade and Hook undefeated streaks were pretty lame and seemed to just randomly go away with little fanfare.

Hadn't heard much about the ROH PPV coming up, but it could turn out to be pretty great.

Having the heel surrender out of sympathy for his partner is a weird tactic too, but Tony's booker of the year, so what do I know?

The majority of opinions seem to be it was the weakest one yet. I wasn't a fan of it. It just dragged on and on after all 10 guys got in the ring. I remember looking at the clock when #10 got in and said "is it really going another 20+ minutes" and yes it was. and everyone I've seen talk about Ibushi said he was rusty and sloppy which he was. Sad since he's a great wrestler and very fun to watch

Still hoping MJF/Cole get the tag belts but knowing they won't. Wasn't a fan of the tease of breaking up, either. They caught lightening in a bottle here. Why do they have to blow it up just because there's a ppv coming up? Make a plan B ffs

Realized Collision was in Newark two hours ago and bought spontaneous tickets. Looking at ticketmaster was pretty shocked how poorly it's sold.

Card isn't as stacked as previous weeks but still very excited for the show based on the Saturday product so far.

Billy Gunn left his boots in the ring last night, being there live it felt so sudden and likely a work, but thinking back more on it it definitely could be real.

House of Black whispered what seemed like congratulatory remarks to him before it happened also.

What a run for Daddy Ass if it’s over

Must be tired of getting scissored every night.

Good to go out on a high note if he's indeed done and admirable how well he's kept himself in shape.

I'm through about a half hour of Collision and have no idea what's going on.

Did they turn Starks heel again? Can't be. He just turned face a few months ago.

Okay, here we go. Punk's the heel. He's heeling the crowd.

But now he's tagging with Darby. So if even the babyfaces are heeling the crowd, why the hell would anyone go to the show?

The Gunns are out with Bullet Club? When did this become a thing? Is the Gunns gimmick that they're with a new faction every month?

They gave you the Darby promo on AR Fox as his mentor, building the relationship, teased the turn, then later did the full turn all on the same show. Tony would have done the entire Bloodline story in less than a month.

My favorite part about it is that next week it's going to be Moxley vs. Trent vs. Pentagon when Moxley attacked OC at the beginning of the show and OC did the same at the end of the show. I need an explanation of why in the world Trent's in this match instead of OC.

Swerve vs. Darby was great. The FU from the second rope to the apron was a sick spot. Both of them easily in my top 3 in AEW.

I feel like AEW must have a bucket or large bin of belts right near the entrance way and anyone who wants can take one when it's their turn to go out. I don't even know what most these belts are. Brian Cage, who is another guy who has been badly booked, won a battle royal on Rampage and is holding a belt at the end. What championship does he have?

Cage and Bill could be an interesting team if they booked them to just crush everyone as monsters for a couple of months, but Tony just throws a battle royal and let's them win for an immediate championship match. I thought they were keeping the two giants on opposite sides of the ring for an eventual stare down and crowd pop. But no, nothing like that.

Without double checking, I'm pretty sure he's apart of the Trios champs in ROH. Maybe it's AAA.

At least they're keeping MJF/Cole going and seemingly building a feud with FTR.

This has been a weird ass build to an MJF-Cole main event for your biggest event ever and possibly highest attended wrestling event ever. I think I'd almost rather see them in a high profile tag match than facing off against each other. Punk v. MJF with 2 months of heated promos would've been a fitting main event for that caliber show.

In typical AEW fashion (as of late), there's pretty much been 0 build to any of the matches on that card, and last PPV when this happened, it was a disaster. I suspect this will be like a Forbidden Door type thing where we'll get some talented performers and great matches, but without much storyline in any of them.

The Cole/MJF match is a huge let down. And I think the chances are high that something like this happens: Cole didn't read contract he signed last night > Cole beats MJF at Wembley > MJF informs him it was a non title match > they break up because of it > actual title match happens the next week at All Out > MJF retains.

Having a Dusty finish at the biggest PPV of AEW's existence will be the worst thing they could ever do. I think it's worse than the "explosion" to close out whatever ppv that was.

There's like zero chance of a Dusty Finish at All In. I'm expecting something clever, and I'm also expecting the Cole actually did read or will read the contract, so that whatever trick MJF is trying to spring on him, he's ready for it. Like, the match is No DQ, and after MJF hits him with the ring in full view of the ref, Strong breaks up the count as he was hiding under the ring the whole time.
