I think Roddy's more likely to turn on Cole than help. "You should've listened to me, etc..". His inclusion in this story is weird. He doesn't matter in AEW and nobody cares about him or wants him in this story.

Yeah, I think Roddy is going to turn unintentionally. Like he tries to prevent MJF from using his ring or something, but ends up accidentally hurting Cole instead. Roddy slides deeper into insanity as MJF and Cole’s bromance is solidified.

Wait a second. AEW is having PPVs on consecutive weekends lol. Wtf? I kept getting confused hearing All In and All Out but didn't realize they were different events.

How do they actually expect us to take the 2nd show seriously?

So much for ppvs meaning something in AEW.

Jfc thats horrible

Actually, maybe its harder to take the 1st show seriously, knowing they need to do another one a week later. So so bad

I initially figured All In would be free on MAX or something. It’s certainly an out of touch move to expect fans to drop $100 in a week’s time.

There should definitely be a discount or something for purchasing both, but I haven’t heard anything of that sort.

What the hell happened to Jade? They built her up like a monster for a few years, she loses once and takes off?

Or is Tony just keeping her in a closet somewhere with Wardlow.

Done with AEW apparently.

I can't believe they didn't make a big deal out of the undefeated streak and have Stat do a couple promos saying she's gonna break the streak. Even if you didn't wanna do a long match, you could've still put Stat over big time. I guess maybe something happened behind the scenes and they needed to get the belt off Jade ASAP.

Daaaamn, that sucks. She definitely doesn’t do this for the money, though, so maybe something happened backstage.

It makes sense that she would be dark for a while after breaking such a winning streak. But, that really sucks if they’ve got nothing planned for her.

Great idea to invest all this time and build into a woman who just up and quits first time she loses.

They didn't make a big deal out of it because Tony books like Vince Russo on crack.

Guys, you know she's not actually gone, right? Tony loves to put people on the shelf for a while and then have a shocking re-appearance.

I wouldn't be surprised if she shows up at one of the 2 PPVs at the end of the month.

Rumors for All In matches sound pretty wack. Jericho vs Ospreay?? Who the **** actually wants to see that.

Even if she's said she doesn't want it, they need to strap Britt again.

Ana Jay against bland champion whose name I can't even remember main eventing Dynamite...yawn.

Wtf?? Shida is one of the best wrestlers on the whole women’s roster.

Britt has been looking slow and clunky as hell.

Shida is awesome, but I liked her old theme and look much more than the current versions.

All In looks f'n awful. Can't believe they're dropping the ball so much on what should be a massive showcase for the company. Maybe Khan figures the tickets are already sold so he's saving all the best matches/angles for a different PPV? Bucks v. FTR is the only match I care about so far.

And really sucks that both Hayter and Pac are injured.

There’s a lot of different ways to do two PPVs back-to-back. This is… certainly one of them.

So Tony is fostering an environment where certain talents are banned from certain shows to keep them from fighting? This does not feel like the ideal way to handle these situations.

I'm more than a bit behind on my podcasts, but I'm listening to Regal from 10/25 last year (probably one of his last). MJF had just done the in ring promo about the e-mails he sent Regal when he was starting off.

Either Regal/Darren Williams is one of the greatest verbal workers ever (which he probably is anyway) or legitimately has massive heat with MJF over that promo. He rips into the kid for a good half hour about it. A must listen if you can find it.

A chunk of the transcript here:

I mean, I could be wrong here, but I doubt MJF really held some huge grudge over the email when he was probably spamming emails to anyone and everyone trying to get a foot in the door. MJF was just playing up the "grudge" as part of an angle.

It does give a bit of insight into MJF though. Guy just seems insanely dedicated to every aspect of his craft, which is why he's maybe the top guy under 30 going today.

But the point is...if you listen to the nearly entire podcast he dedicated to it...it certainly got under Regal's skin.

Sounds like Wheeler will be able to travel without restrictions, which makes me wonder if this is as bad as people are trying to make it sound.

The Jericho turn was one of the most awfully booked turn angles I've seen in a while. How does Jericho come off the babyface here? He was willing to join and even called himself as low as Callis until he saw the painting and his giant ego took over. It would have been fine if he just said no and they attacked him, but Jericho himself probably came up with this too fancy ****.

Did they ever explain how Ethan Page went from reluctant to a willing member of the Hardy clan?

Enjoying the MJF/Cole stuff. Hoping they can stick the landing.
The AEW Thread Quote

Also Callis having the painting there is ****in pointless. So his whole endgame was spending weeks courting Jericho, while thinking there was 0% chance he'd say yes, just so he could show him a silly painting at the end? Cool story bra

I think Jericho has consistently been involved in the worst storylines since I started paying attention (a bit before Punk's first appearance). I wish he'd just go away. Now he's gonna **** up an Ospreay match, and when you have Ospreay on the card, it should be a guaranteed banger, but now it will probably suck.

Been saying this for years. Can't remember the last time he did something I found entertaining. Maybe the match with Omega at Wrestle Kingdom.

I'm hoping that the reason this Ospreay match is happening is because it's been a lifetime dream of his to face Jericho. Not a good enough reason, but at least I'd understand it.

Go home Dynamite was decent, they at least tried to sell some of the matches.

The Swerve/Ar Fox/Darby etc. segment was a disaster though, with practically everybody coming out of it looking awful besides Christian Cage.

Also Hardys/Aussie Open main eventing was pretty lol too.

In lighter news, I saw this on twitter before I watched the ep and I had to watch it many times before I realized it wasn't in fact Bo Dallas lol

I thought this last night but today AR Fox revealed that his grandmother died yesterday and he requested time off and to be let out of the trip overseas. Could've been done better but very forgivable given the circumstances

Dope go home show, definitely got me interested for All In. Feels like that hook should’ve come a week or two ago, but I’m in.

Can’t wait for Ospreay to sign with AEW. I hope he just destroys Jericho.
