Open seating again most of last night for NL, very shortwt trip for me and a total 180 from the table I had played at the night before. No 5/5 playing last night, BBJ was at $133k

It depends what time you go. I got there last night at 7pm and had to wait an hour to get on a 2/5. They opened a third table at 8pm when the new shift of dealers came in.

Got there around 9 and sat right away for 1/2 at a pretty bleak table. Nothing memorable about the play, but by 10:45 the 2/5 game next to me broke and players were re-assigned to the other two games running and by 11 my table was down to six with no one sitting on more than 150 in chips, so I got up and the table broke apart.

No 5/5 running last night, BBJ @ $135k and it seems every dealer wants to deal it, every player wants it to come up, as it was the discussion at every dealer change. I've never played a Friday night there, but am considering it, what's the play usually like?

I must admit the bad beat talk gets really annoying to me. Apparently I was the table villian the other day I played because I made a comment about the amount of times it gets brought up. One guy even said, "If you don't want to hit the bad beat then why do you even play?". I just shrugged it off and said, "because bad beat jackpot chasers like you play".

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if there are any good tournaments going on today (Saturday) and what kind of play to expect at 1/2 and 2/5. My friend bailed on me as we were supposed to go to AC today, cus the Harrah's multi-casino BBJ is around 400k. The Sands is still about a 1:15 hr drive and AC is 1:45, and I've never been to the Sands, so is it worth checking out or should I make the trip to AC?

Very similar at 1/2 not sure otherwise no experience with the higher stakes.

Gonna be there Sat Oct 23rd for the day. Any notes to know about the poker play there? I'm eyeing 2-5nl. Comparing to Borgata 2-5nl would be appreciated.

Also I should be there before 10am.. on a Sat am will there be a wait?

There are usually only 2, 2-5 tables open once so your wait will be dependant on 2-5 early crowd and what happened to the night/early morning 2-5 tables before you arrive. Shouldn't be much of a wait 1-2 at that time and you can just play and wait for a 2-5 to open.

hasn't been much of a need for it because as of late, there are no real waits. I'm sure Friday / Saturday / Sunday there are waits though... so def use it then.

as of last night BBK was at $154k
