Great link! I'm no anthropologist, but I reckon the game may be different in the south because:

- more transient population
- more diverse. military. but old money is there
- old people xposed to the above start to play fancy b/c most people are donkeys or they are bored
- more people there to play as opposed to waiting for KK+. more working class people for whom weekend poker is their night out

I'm officially wishing an FU to the 6/12 O8 game. Someone earlier posted that they regs are there to pass money to each other, until they die.

That is true; but even if there are only 3 regs on the table, the game moves so slowly they have an outsized effect.

In instance of a truly annoying old POS player, they are twice as annoying bc they have 4 cards to look at and slow the game down.

In effect, the game becomes an instance of chasing the $75 hh. Then you also have players who, despite waiting 5+ hours to join the game, refuse to buy the button and/or take the full 20 minute dinner break, which kills the game

Circuit event last month 2 guys chopped on a board 8 9 T xx both had 67 suited. I chuckled and no one else reacted.

Does anyone have any contact information for management at Fortune. They seem to do a great job of obscuring the ownership and contact info. Nothing negative, just need to get hold of someone there beyond floor staff.

The burger at caribbean is fine. The service is mixed, with today being so bad I actively avoided the server.

Also, someone sh*t themselves at the O8 game. Worst smell I've experienced in recent memory.
