Are there any spread limit games outside of the Indian casinos that have a max bet of over $40?

Hideaway I know has their Friday $3/$100 spread, but is that it?

Club Hollywood allows anyone to bet $100 as long as everyone left in the hand agreed beforehand. You use Over buttons.

How often are people like "naw dawg, no $100 bets?" or is that just the de facto standard?

It's like straddling. No one wants to be first, but once someone breaks the ice it's contagious. It's rare that more than half the table agrees.

Sounds like a mess. They should just have a designated 3-100 game like the Hideaway does.

I don't understand why the don't run that game more than once a week. Every Friday there are 10239812039821092813 people on the list. I assume it would be more popular than some of the weirder $2 Pan Kondition or Crazy Inverted Batman Hi/Lo or whatever other games they run.

You need to understand the poker eco system at the Hideaway. The 3-100 spread is a big game for there. Not a lot of big poker bankrolls. People play there for fun, so management spreads a variety of games depending on demand. (Does a great job IMO). The pan game (spread only during the day on Tues-Thurs I think) and 3-6 O/8 game are popular with players who frequent the Hideaway. If you want to play bigger go to Tulalip or Muckleshoot.

They are doing what is right to protect the player base.

If that game runs more often, it will attract better players and that money will be sucked dry.

So what is the normal spread for the Hideaway and what does it play like? Apologies if this has been asked before.

Their regular hold-em game is 3-20 spread. Plays like typical 3-6 no fold em hold em tho.

Exactly what happened to the short-lived 2/100 game at the Royal.

What about the 5/10/25 PLO?

Anyone think the prolong existence of that game has caused an overall diminishing effect of tulalip econ in general?

Too much money getting wiped out too fast?

You would think so, but unless the regs are out of town for a tournament or something it seems like it goes every single Thrs for as long as I can remember.

It was running there on Saturday as well when I was there. I didn't play poker but wanted to see what was running. I dont like that the big PLO game seems to keep the smaller game from running, which I like and am comfortable playing in.

Can you elaborate on this? Do you mean if I raise to $23 from the BB with KK, limpers are all going to call, and then call another $20 bet on the flop with their gutshot straight draws?

Is there a max buy-in for this game?

Many of the players in this game are either pros or have significant income in real life. In general a great group of guys, make it enjoyable to play as they take your money! This is why it has run so long, but not removed so much money it killed the games.

How many of you people who report on these games or talk them up actually have ever sat in them?

I was thinking more of a lack of trickle down effect of having such a big gap between that game and the next biggest game.

There are a least a handful of players who used to sit in 3/5 and 5/T that have gone busto for playing in that PLO game.

How is it relevant?

I'm curious to know what comment prompted you to ask this question.

Feel free to ignore me if I'm being impolite.

I have never played in the big PLO game but will one day take a shot at it. I have played in the smaller PLO game that they get occasionally.

I can sit at two or three tables in a night and see zero winning players, but then pop in here and see people who seem to know what they're talking about. I know IRL like three people who post in here.

But still, how is that relevant to what we're talking about?

Are any of us misrepresenting ourselves in the current topic?
