Gambly folks with disposable income would make for a fun (and profitable for some) environment.

I could be completely wrong, but would love to see it happen to find out.

Would be great until the poker economy collapses.

Sitting in CT talking to someone who starts orientation very soon at MGMNH. They say 39 tables to start with room to expand. That is all the details I could get out of them.

heard a rumor from a md live dealer about their promo during mgm's opening weekend (dec 8-12).
$10,000 high hand every hr, but might be split between 2 highest hands.

If so, I predict the hot dog stand wont be at capacity, unless the hot dog vendor counters with the marketing $$$ MGM HQ is pumping into MGMNH.

This is almost as good as the million dollar bad beat or the one I heard last week that mgmnh poker room wasn't going to open until March because a wall fell down. Cmon. It seems unlikely dealers know what's going on in December.

I think there's a better chance some dealer might know something than a promo that gives away $10k for 124 hours.

Wow. That's over a million $$$ in one weekend.

Don't be so obtuse. There's no way that promotion will run 24 hours a day.

My thoughts too

Johnny:

Perhaps this is a stupid question at this point, but I don't think anyone has directly asked it ITT since the last mention of an imminent press release: Will we know the answers to standard FAQs about the room before it opens? If so, do you have an ETA on when that would be? Thanks.

You will. The last 2 estimates I gave were so horifically bad, I won't hazard a guess. As soon I can release the details, I will.

I hope you're better as a hot dog vendor than a public relations person

I'm not too good at either. My specialties are Tupperware sales and Poker operations. Does anyone need a new lettuce crisper? Or possibly a new poker room?

Johnny,
I know it's kind of dicey to be too specific about stuff, but is everything or almost everything decided and you're just waiting for clearance to push the "send" button?

Think a more apt question is will there be a soft opening for poker?
11-15-2016 , 02:54 PM
Will there be poker?
