They burned through quite a few on Saturday (including 1 Royal), but I tend to think it'll slow down.

And yea, I mean I could think of better/cooler ways to do promo money or even HH (hourly payout etc), but it's "free" (as in, something we werent getting before and arent paying anything additional for now), so anything sounds good to me in that case.
I'd say no more than 1-2 weeks. When I left this AM around 5, only quad Kings, one straight flush and 2 royals were left. And it hasn't been 48 hours yet.

Coming up with this HH promotion should be at the bottom of managements priorities. What's the point of running an additional promotion if you can't serve your existing customers? Their list of things to do should look like this:

1. Hire more dealers.
2. Hire more dealers.
3. Hire more dealers.
4. Buy new chairs for the poker room.
99. Come up with a new dopey high hand promotion.

Management should be fired.
Problem is no one wants to work
Problem two is going by statistics half of the current staff doesn't want to work as well which is allowed by the law
As for the chairs I don't think they are that bad unless your 60 years plus and just like to hear yourself complain

wow - can't believe it is flying by that quickly. the last royals might take a while, but certainly looks like itll be no where near several months haha.

Quad Kings hit last night.

At around midnight only three were left:

Straight Flush in Spades
Royal in Spades
Royal in Clubs

What's the high hand promo? How much per hand?

I never understood the chair hate either but laugh at the lengths some go to get the "good" chairs. I think I prefer the standard ones actually.

All quad combos, straight flush of each suit, royal flush of each suit are the 21 hands on the board. Once that hand hits, it gets taken off the board.

The first of the 21 hands paid $100. The second paid $200. Quad Kings hit last night for $1800. The last 3 pay $1900-2000-2100. Then it resets.

Do diamonds get to move to the top of the list at Horseshoe, or just 7 stars?

Last time I checked, diamonds get moved to top of list below anyone who has been waiting for over thirty minutes and below seven stars and other diamonds.

Seven stars move to top of list below other seven stars.

correct - I think this is more or less the policy; the above or below folks waiting for 30 minutes is a bit up to interpretation but this is the gist

Anyone interested in buying one?

Valid for 2017 & 2018

You can buy diamond with a founders card for a lot less than that and your own diamond is worth a lot more than a purchased companion card they'll probably ban you over. Straight up lol at that offer.

No chance the promo board cleared and reset yet, is there? I know they were only waiting for 2 royals a day or two ago

anyone else tired of them force closing games? I was on my way there this evening, and there were 7 games going, with 9 on the list (i play 1/2 nlhe mainly). suddenly, there's 6 games going with 16 on the list! I turned around and went home. And this was at 12:30 in the morning.

what is going on there. This has actually happened to me when i'm there. ive been asked to go back on a list while in a short handed game (with people waiting btw) because they need to close a table to send a dealer home.

how are they not hiring new dealers. or is it safe to assume, that being part of Ceasers, it's being poorly run on purpose?

I'm a regular in the room and friends with a lot of the night shift crew. They all tell me that they have such strict requirements for their dealers, that no one ever gets hired. I agree that management needs to be fired.

I also think that the room is being purposefully bled down to make way for a smaller poker room.

No one could possibly be this stupid on the management team.

It's pretty unremarkable that a major corporation that is just now emerging from a hotly-contested chapter 11 bankruptcy isn't particularly concerned about the management of a poker room at its Indiana property.

Not that it's OK to shaft the players, but management may be under a lot of restrictions from the powers-that-be that prevent them from doing whatever is it that they want.

Shafting players is discontinuing complimentary water or something. They're shafting themselves. Some of the smaller player pools should probably ask majestic if they're willing to make it worth our while

The high hand board rolled over, tonight. Both black royal flushes were dealt about an hour apart.
