< 100 players is one day. > 100 two days.

To answer some of your questions, if you get under 100 players, the final table will be done that same day. If you get more then 100 players, your looking at 2 days of poker.

You can register early for the ISPC tournaments. I do not know about registering late though.

I checked the reults from the last 6-max tourney which was during the WPT and it got 77 players. Since the non-WPT tournaments generally get smaller fields than the WPT I'd say it's a pretty safe bet they'll get less 100 this time and therefore be a one day tournament.

As for early/late registration, you can do either. They usually open registration like a week before the first event. With late registration the standard policy is you can register until the first break of the tournament which is usually after the third blind level.

Also, before LiveActionPro asks, they got 153 for the main event satellite yesterday. Yours truly shipped a seat.

Just found some rake info that claims 10% up to cap $5.00 + $1 for BBJ likely this still holds for the three low stakes?

Thanks. I'd say around the fifth blind level, 200/400/50, it becomes a shove fest. The whole thing was over in 4 hours. I ran like God early on and built up a huge stack then pretty much just folded into the money.

You're pretty much dead on, Tom. I was one of the lucky ones to win a seat as well. When we got down to about 3 or 4 tables, I was at around 6,000 chips and the BB was 1,200. I ended up going all-in w/ Ad9d and was able to triple up when I turned a flush. That got me back going and was able to survive from there.

I'll say, in my mind it played much better than some other satellites I've been in. The 4,000 starting stack is small but still gives you some wiggle room early at least.

If you win a seat do you have to play in the Main Event or do they just give you chips for the buyin amount?

They took our player's cards and gave us back entry slips. I don't know if you can sell it after the fact, but there was one guy who sold his before they took the cards. They said they just needed a card for the spot, so it was up to the player if they wanted to give it to someone and work out details later.

Entry slips from the first mega had a name and seat assignment. Floor said if you want to sell it, you have to go to the cage and transfer it by name for the full value. Obv, cash could be exchanged after the transfer is made at the cage.

Couldn't make it tonight but I'll definitely be there Sunday. The Wednesday night is tough because if you do make a run you're there until like 4 in the morning, haha

I plan on playing day 1 of the deepstack next Thursday. If I make day 2, I would like to play cash on Friday.

I know there will probably be a very long wait list for cash games, at least until later in the evening.

Would it be worth it to drive to Belterra? Do they have decent action on a Friday afternoon?

I would not bother driving to Belterra...They do tend to have a decent crowd on Friday and Saturday, mainly in the evenings, but to me, the drive is just not worth it...They have a total of I believe 11 tables, and the only time I ever see a lot running is during a tourney.....Best bet is to play your tourney, sign up for a cash game while in it, they will leave you on for half an hour, and then you can get rolled over on the list.... I dont know how familiar you are with the area, but Belterra is a good hour drive from Hollywood.

Last time I was at Belterra (it's been a while) they were down to eight tables and were only spreading 1/2 NL and 2/4 limit. Friday at Hollywood will be a zoo but it's worth the wait imo. They usually get cash games going late afternoon/early evening and have a good amount running by mid evening. What I would do is get there early to make sure you're near the top of the list then find a way to kill time until they actually get the games open.
