I got to thinking that there is a silver lining to what I did last night. If those guys see me again, they will say, "Hey there's that guy that called down with A2 on a 66A5x board. Let's value bet him." And then I'll finally pick up a set for the first f'ing time and stack those mofos. Should have known it was going to be a bad night when I walked in and put my Match Play coupon + $15 on red and 00 came.

I just play a LOT of hands, get good reads, and FOLD when you know your beat.
One hand last night, I had been raising all night and putting pressure on everyone showed a few bluffs and then I straddle and Get delt AA, DING!, well 3 callers and I raise to 26, one caller, and flop K-6-4, Rainbow, bet out 20 making my self look weak, He just calls and I know he has a K, turn is a J, now I do not like this hand, I insta check, he looks like he wants to bet and then checks, LOL he is trying to look weak and try and make me bet on the river, well a 8 hits the river, I check and he fires out 60, and he has 260 behind, I grab three blacks and fling em out there, he insta calls and I flip aces over and he insta mucks.

Just made my first trip to "Hollywood" this week. Have to agree with everyone, poker room is A++.

Quick question for you LiveAction if you dont mind? You mentioned you played alot of hands, tried to get good reads and knew how to fold if you were beat. Were you limping in most of the time and just increasing the range of hands you played?

The table I was playing was 1/3 NL and would have four to six players limping into most pots. Game seemed easier than many 50 NL games online...

Thanks for the feedback, if you don't mind...

I like to limp a lot and call a lot(sounds bad but works), and play after the flop based on my reads and their reaction to the flop, hard to explain, and I move to different tables alot, so no one can get a good read on me or if the table is dead.

I played $3-6 four hours on a perfect table, loose preflop and weak tight/ passive post flop. I played bad and missed a lot of value on the river but booked a win.

i dident know we had so many 2+2ers playing at argosy. im mean hollywood. im never playing that 3-6 game again. what BS. i wish i could get those donkeys on the 1-3 NL. its two choices for a low limit grinder like me. try and beat the rake and the river in 3-6 or play 1-3 for 3 hours plus and get the good end of a flip. either way sucks. we should have a 2+2 night. or something. i would organize it.

(Prob. should call down there, I know) But any chance you think they might spread 5/10 HOSE? Lowest HOSE game listed on the site is 10/20 I believe.

They seem to spread anything that can fill a table. If you get enough names on the list, they will call it and try to get the game going.

Just before I left, Saturday, they started $5-10 Limit Holdem and it also went as LH/LO8 mix. Tplayers were trying to get it changed but I didn't stick around to find out.

Sorry to hear that but it makes me feel a lot better about my losing session mentioned above. For a while there, I thought you were God. And I have a 1.5 hour drive so I will probably not be there until after I get back from vacation. Nothing like driving home 1.5 hours stuck $300.

If you guys have a 2+2 meetup at Hollywood, please let me know. I'll try to keep up here, but I'm not on as often as I'd like. (Steamboatin', keep me up to date!)

If we can't get our homegame going this Saturday, we were going to head to Horseshoe -- maybe we'll head to Hollywood instead. Do they have RV parking? (It's only 1.5 hours, but we like to drink!)

I've had a fabulous run at Horseshoe (more than $3,000 the past four nights I've been there), but hubby isn't doing so well -- unbelievable suckouts. He's dying to try someplace new.

YES!! 5/10 mixed game Im definitely in. Ill be there for the IPT but just going to play the $300 deepstack tourny. I love the place even though Im down about $1200 after a rough 1/3 PLO session. Lost a $3.5K pot after flopping the nuts. The game is soooo good though, could easily win $5K.

Is this game uncapped? If not, what is the min/max? Thanks.
