If he stayed past then, I missed it as I was tired of going card dead the whole night. But he had to have been up more than $1900 at that 2-5 game, because at one point we counted him having at least $3500.
I would've taken a 2 hour break too if I had people nagging me the whole time while I was playing cards. I watched him play for about an hour and the guy to Moneymaker's left wouldn't shut up! Must've been the first time he's ever played against a big name.

Haha, that guy NEVER shuts up. He tilts me and I've never played against him. He's just one of those guys.

He was sucking up to him a lot too. I saw him buy/bring him budlight and chip racks. I thought there were only groupies in Pro sports and Rock Bands, I guess there are poker groupies too!

This is the worst. Raymer came to HW Indiana almost 2 years ago. He started at my nightly table and this guy to his left turned in to being the biggest tool I've ever seen. It got so bad, he began answering questions for Raymer who finally told him he was a grown man and could speak for himself. Do you think people who act like that realize how embarrassing their antics are?

I actually expected more people to be watching Moneymaker and possibly have 1 or 2 floor men standing around the game. Saturday night when I was there the table MM was at was no different from the other. I actually didnt even know what table he was at until it was pointed out to me. Everyone that spent any time playing with his sais he's pretty friendly and very approachable, but is quiet and focused while playing, which I would expect.

As far as the addition tables and layout of the poker room, I think they should have taken more time to measure the distances between the tables properly. The tables against the wall the cage is on are very crouded. Players sitting back to back at different tables will bump chairs alot while just sitting normally at the table. However towards the back of the room there is alot of extra room between the tables. There's one or 2 rows between the tables that go from front to back of the room where you can walk through all right, but the rest of the room you have to almost walk sideways and bump every chair you walk past. The whole thing seems poorly thought out and planned, which really isnt a surprise to me. Im not sure if table placement options were limited by how the wiring was run to all the cameras or not. Ive been seated at tables next to the walls at a seat facing the wall and I had to ask for a table change promptly. It just made me feel very clostrophobic. The extra tables have served their purpose though, as there is hardly any waiting to be seated even in peak times.

I think one major issue w/ the new table set-up is that there are clear lanes the casino wants people to use to walk the length / width of the room, however people aren't using them (instead choosing to try to navigate between tables in the tight spaces).

I was shocked to see Moneymaker still at the casino today. I was there from about 5-8 and he was still there playing 2-5. I could have sworn the promotion only lasted thru the weekend, but I guess he was up a crapton of money so he decided to stay a little longer.

With all the fish who were playing 2/5 with him over the weekend, I wouldn't be surprised if he builds a house in Columbus.

Yeah he was playing just to play. Rumors are he's up > $16k since Friday. I guess he got his AA in vs AK for like 12k or something dumb. (6k profit).

Which leads me to wonder: Why don't people ever ship 1200 BBs into my AA?

played in the MM games friday and saturday. money and some other dude tripled me up in a 3k pot at 1-2 PLO... that was nice, i was stuck huge until then. he's a nice guy.. weird vibe at the table though definitely. a few people admitted to only playing PLO because they wanted to sit w money. exactly what i anticipated.

Since they stopped running PLO and PLO8 MTTs in Lawrenceburg, I'll be going to Columbus for this instead... Those were getting 40-60 entries when I was there (about once a month or so).

When were the start times? I believe they were weekly evening tourneys if my memory serves me correctly, much different than 1015am on a Sunday

Saturday 11:15 AM I believe for PLO8 and Tuesday 7:15 PM for PLO. I was speaking more of the PLO8 which understandably might not have been as popular as PLO (with the split pots and slower play).

Twenty tables and a 1-2 PLO game before 2 pm on a Sunday -- anyone know why the room is so busy right now? Seems pretty atypical.

I'm sure the hot seat drawings and package giveaway entries have something to do with it.

Might check out the PM tourney tonight. Bravo has nothing in terms of starting stack/structure. I'm sure it's turbo-ish, but still nice to know what we start with/how long levels are. Anyone know?

EDIT: Found it on their website.

20 min levels, 4k start for $90 PM (+$10 for 2k addon)

Standard
