I play once a week for 4-7 hours

I've been receiving $15 once or twice a week. I'm getting bumped up to $25 at the beginning of May.

If 2 players play the same amount of hours but 1 plays 3 times a week averages 3 hours and player 2 plays 1 day a week and plays 9 hours player 2 may get better comps because their average is larger per session. imo

I last played for 10 hours just under a year ago. I get $15 2x weekly.

It’s possible it depends where you live too

That's always how I've understood it to work. I typically play long sessions. If I know I'm only going to play an hour or two, I won't log-in in order to avoid reducing my average time per session.

That too. If you live close to the casino, ask a friend/relative who lives further away to use their address.

I’m stuck on gold and getting $5 2x a week which honestly is borderline insulting.

I’m almost 1/3 way to platinum. I know my friend is gold and gets $15 2x a week in offers. Maybe he played pits to get that.
Ahhh... I used to get $15 2X a week..... Oh the Pre-Covid days!!!

This is correct. Your comps/offers are based off of the daily average of the days you play. In this example you have one player with a 3 hour average and another with a 9 hour average so the latter would receive much more in return.

This makes some sense.. I tend to play a lot (4-5) of 3 hour sessions per week..

Does anyone know if platinum guarantees you $25?

Platinum doesn't guarantee $25. Mine ranges from $5 to $50 depending on how poorly I behaved in the previous months.

Were you able to get $50 solely off poker?

You guys are all talking about comped offers through your reward cards?
I'm guessing that is different than playing 15 hours of cash to get a $15 food comp the following Monday?
Did they stop doing this $15 food comp post covid or does a floor guy have to give them out now?

I just said your card tier doesn't matter.

Yeah a 3 hour average is only gonna get you a 5pt offer. A very rough way to gage what your offers will be is the average number of base reward points you earn. It's not an exact science but it puts you in the ballpark.

Not post pandemic. Covid killed a lot of the generosity. I often get lost in the land of dice though... So the offers return.

You'll occasionally get Fridays in fox tower on non holiday weekends October through March. But that's about it for pure poker. Once 2 trees went down so did most of the Friday comps.

Is there any confirmation on whether two trees is closed permanently?

Nothing official. Most rumors assume that the new resort will either incorporate or replace Two Trees, or that they will mothball Two Trees until construction is over.

Of course, that is just rumors from people who think they know all of the goings on, but might not have any real viable information.

Has anyone here played in the $500 tourneys that Foxwoods runs on Sundays. Just wondering what kind of turnout they get. It’s about a three hour drive for me and I don’t want to make the trip for a 50 player tournament. Thanks.

I haven't play any of them, but they did post the results on their website. It was getting around 130-180 players most Sundays. I think it had only one low turnout at around 60 players for Valentine's Sunday.

Also, FYI the $500 has been replace with their $1200 Step 2 satellites to get a WSOP Main Event $10k seat for the last two and next four Sundays. I'm guessing the normal $500 tourney will return on May 29th.

Strangely enough, I had one of the guys sitting next to me at Mohegan last night and he told me the story and details. Seemed legit and kind of told me with a low voice as he did not want to broadcast it to the whole table. Seemed like a nice enough dude, (if he wasn't bluffing) lol.

I've heard the story at 3 home games and Encore so far. It just keeps getting better. I can't wait to hear where it goes.
