Do we know where exactly great wolf lodge is going? I would have guessed two trees would be the ideal landing spot for it.

The press release said it was going in the lot between the gas station and the rainmaker. If it’s the same size as the ones in MA and PA, I’m not sure what they plan to do for parking.

The Foxwoods debt situation makes that complicated. Two Trees and the golf course have been pledged as collateral on that debt.

Any word on an upcoming tourney series yet? I saw some FW regs joking about it on SM.

I also saw that they are going to run their $150/$1200 sattys to the WSOP ME next month.

Thank you. It's not on their poker blog. So for those who don't know:

Dates: 4/10, 4/24, 5/1, /15, 5/18

Replaces the $500 those dates. Looks like the same structure as the $500.

It is going in the parking lot that's between the Pequot Outpost gas station and the rainmaker section of the casino, basically where the RV lot used to be... the project will also take up the section of Trolley Line Blvd which will be closed from J lot to Pequot outpost/Two Trees so basically Trolley Line Blvd will end by J lot where it intersects with the road that enters the parking garage near the food court... Also the J lot parking area will be taken over by Great Wolf Lodge.

For the past year I'm starting to go to Foxwoods for poker a few times a month often taking advantage of the free rooms Sunday through Thursday. I'm mostly playing the bigger games where I'll typically bring at least $5K of ready cash. Years ago on the west coast I was follow home robbed for about 3K and wonder if any of you know if this is a problem at Foxwoods? (Note I live about an hour away).

I'm thinking of opening a player's bank (i.e., putting money on deposit at the cage) but wonder is it is worth the hassle. Does anyone use a player's bank in this thread and is it a hassle? One of my worries is Foxwoods may be on the edge of bankruptcy (I haven't looked at financials but all the closed off areas and the fact that a whole tower is closed down during the week makes me wonder).

Do I have other options? For example, do they provide markers (lines of credit) for poker players? My credit is almost perfect.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have routinely walked in and out of Foxwoods several times a week at various times of the day for the last 25 years with at times $5k plus and never had an issue. Also wouldn't really be too concerned with their financial status.

Thanks. In LA I think the problem was that I went to the cage with about $3000 in five dollar chips very late at night in plain view of the poker tables (this was in the limit days were bringing six racks of chips used in 15/30 and 20/40 limit holdem was common). My guess is someone with a cell at a nearby table phoned someone outside the casino who followed me home with two others. They were very professional thieves IIRC. Only happened once in 23 years of play so I guess it was a cost of doing business.

Poker room is near the Hard Rock Cafe, where it's been a few years now.

I was in on Wednesday afternoon, I think about 18 tables were going. Most of that 1/2 nlhe but also 2/5, 2/5 plo, a couple small stakes stud and LHE, maybe a big stud game too. Check the bravo app for hours.
