I have free room offers for all of Feb/March playing exclusively 5/10 but it's a higher raked game so it makes sense.

They dont rake it the same as 2/5?

Do you play often?

5/10 is a time game -- $7 per half hour, per player

I play like 40 hours a week

Does the number of points you have factor into room offers? I wasn't playing that much and was getting room offers more often as opposed to now with less points on my card.

I called a host(Lori) and she said that she could not figure out why I didnt have any for February but had them for Januray and March. She said that they look at a 90 day period when figuring offers. She said in the instance Oct, Nov, Dec.

She put me through to marketing who said that he could not understand either but maybe it had to do with the fact that I had "ALOT of points" I only had like 250????
So I dont know and am very irked. I thought about paying for a room but there are none for Saturday and the other days that I was thinking of are astronamically high and mostly for 2 Trees. Like I would ever pay $179 to stay in that pile of ****.

I had close to 2k points and was getting room offers on a regular basis while playing once a week at most. I used them and haven't seen a room offer since. I never play weekdays, so no biggie here.

Yeah, but I am afraid that you missed your shot at taking me down--I am running good again, which means I am actually hitting flops with my garbage .

I had free room offers for DEC and Jan.
So I emailed customer service and asked why none for feb and march
they say because my play rate was too low
love the free rooms i am with u on paying there is just something wrong with the rates they charge

Will be down there today playing 1/2 from 3-11 or so. If you see a dude wearing a Save Ferris T-Shirt and a Guinness hat say hi.

It's pretty frustrating, especially because the one time I did receive free room offers I wasn't even playing that much the previous two months... I would even be ok with paying 69$+ tax a night but I'm not down with my rates randomly changing when I KNOW that they have empty rooms not being used.

To DMB (and others) - Here's an example of what I was talking about when you book 2 nights with your offers but only 1 night qualifies as comped:

Mgm Grand At Foxwoods - Deluxe 2 Queen Beds
32" Flat Panel Cable Tv With Pay-Per-View Movies I-Home Clock Radios, Mini Bar, Hairdryer, Coffee Maker, In Room Safe, Wireless High-Speed Internet Access, Marble Shower And Vanity Area

Subtotal: $0.00*
Rate Details
Night Rate* Rate Basis
3/11/2011 .00 March Promotion
3/12/2011 79.00 Dream Card

As you can see, the Subtotal shows up as $0, however when I clicked on Rate Details to break it down each night, the 2nd night is actually charged. Just be mindful of this the next time you book using your offers - always double-check the rate.

Hey Latt my friend let me add something to it.. Yes that is the deal but its an oversight in the computer confirmed to me by them ...If that ever happens they will fix it no problem ...The computer system is the issue so just be sure you catch it right away(hence check your credit card a few days after you checkout)..They are working on it I have been told

Ya I don't know what's up with those room offers. I am getting very annoyed about it. I have tried different hosts on the floor and in the poker room. No comp rooms. The only real plausible answer I got was that they send out promotions to a certain region.

But I was talking to one old guy the other day right before my KK got rivered by 66 who made a straight lol he said he only plays 1/2 and can get a room whenever he wants.

Who knows? I was playing 75 a hand in blackjack the other night too for well over an hour and I woke up with 16 points.

After reading about it constantly in this thread, I FINALLY got an e-mail for 2 free nights @ MGM Grand anytime during the week in March.

Is there anything I can do to make sure I keep getting these in the future? Also, is there a way to check all the offers you currently have?

How do you get on their email list? And about room comps, do you just ask a host like late at night and hope?

That's about right. Most games upstairs return about 14% of your avg bet per hour in comps. So $75/hand for 1 hour would get you around 11 pts.

If you log onto your account online, you can view all of your offers. The email address you put down when you signed up for a dream card is automatically added to their distribution list.

You guys shouldnt complain. Been going to Foxwoods for 7 years and have never gotten a free room. Most I ever got was those 39 dollar room rates. I just received those a month ago

Played last night. Was surpised at how dead it was. There were 3, 2/5 games running with 1 of them being a must move. The problem being that they were full of regs. I would have thought that the night before the Mega Stack would have been busy especially with the November 9 being there.

Do you go regularly or just once in a while?
