Correct. It was PLO but (obviously) still abiding by the $100 max bet.

Um. Whatever you wanna call it.

$50 in the pot - you could bet $50
$1500 in the pot - you could bet $100

Anyone happen to see the stack sizes in the game? Understand from the earlier posting the game played super nitty, so may be irrelevant.

Just curious if there were a lot of min buys just to check the game out or what.

What is the best bus service to blackhawk, from Denver or Thornton? See that CasinoShuttle.com has $20 round trip, any other deals or direct routes offered?

$100 - $1000, my buddy won $500. I didn't play but watched a bit and what I saw was far from nitty. Slightly puzzled by the "nitfest" comment.

Edit: I don't play Omaha but I almost did because of the free $20 but in the end I chickened out and just played hold em.

Anyone ever try the 2-10 spread limit game at lady luck or reserve? Kinda boring but can get fun when drunks or total noobs sit down and donate multiple buy ins.

Is reserve taking interest list for 1/2-100 or 2/5-100? Or they just happy with this nonsense 2-10 game?

Noobs and drunks dont play this game. This game attracts older people who learned the 1-5 back when limits were $5 and have a hard time adjusting to new games. Most people prefer the fixed limit or no(spread) limit games, but there is a niche of people who lost a few buy ins when the limits were increased and refuse to play anything else.

Thanks the info... I wasn't up this weekend but an earlier poster mentioned the game was super nitty, which surprised me. Person also mentioned the game died around midnight?

From what you saw, how was the game? I'd guess loose/passive? Did the game seem to run pretty smooth?

Noobs and drunks do play it. I've been playing it semi regularly lately and there is usually always one or two mega fish who will literally call down with nothing. Sure there are lots of old farts grinding out their free lunch but its usually worth the extremely poor level of play. It's also fun being the drunk and raising old farts.

I see it something like this..... Old fart bets $5, you make it $15...he folds and mostly tanks for 10 minutes. Sick game

Questions about the $100 max bet rule in spread limit:

ex: its 4th street in holdem heads up, action on you, you make it $50, next player makes it $100. can you raise another $100? can he then raise another $100 after you? can you raise again and so on in $100 increments?

or multi way example preflop: utg opens for $10, next player makes its $30, you make it $100. can you be raised? and can you re raise?

iv never played spread limit, just wondering how it works exactly.

second question: are there any NLH games besides tournaments in card rooms/casinos in CO?

Spread limit allows a bet and 4 raises I believe. It could be 5

or multi way example preflop: utg opens for $10, next player makes its $30, you make it $100. can you be raised? and can you re raise?

yes and yes. But if I'm correct about 4 raises you're second re-raise would cap the action

The $100 limit is a state wide law. You will not find a true NL game in any casino in the state.

Example #1. UTG makes it $15, you're next and raise to $115. He re-raises to $215, etc.

No true no-limit anything. $100 max bet on anything (poker, blackjack, craps, slots, everything) in all legal casinos in the state.

I don't play spread-limit a whole lot up there, so I've not been in this situation in a $x-$100 spread game, but I believe there is no cap if you enter the street heads-up. That's how it was in the $5 days and that's how it is in the limit games.

Depends on room rules, but heads up there's usually no cap. Otherwise it's bet and 3 or 4 raises.

Igga I've never actually been to the reserve I just know they spread 2-10. I think they would have 1-2-100 and I doubt 2-5 but not sure. I thought 2-10 sounded ghey but I've had fun the times I've played it. Rack of whites are lol.

Slobbering on chips, sniffling, food remnants flying everywhere. Disgusting. I am a man of the people but jesus christ have some dignity, just a little bit not having your fat ass draped over the chair next to you, folding in turn, not smelling like bigfoots ****. Christ.
