watup stan, got a question -

i am currently in AC, and i'll be staying at the borgata at the tourney rate as long as im still in the deep stack tourney. however, after the tourney is done, apparently i cannot stay at the borg at the poker rate (this is my first time to borg). is there any other way for me to stay at the borg for cheap? when i play cash i play 5/10nl just fyi.

maybe play slots/table games try and get comped?

Has anyone else noticed that when the B sends out its email abotu what the bad beat jackpot is at it gets hit the next day?! Im going to make a ritual to go down to the B everytime i get the email from now on...

This was a few weeks ago, but I was unsure what the protocol actually was.

I was sitting at a 2/5 table at the Borgata when some sng started and some others left leaving us 5 handed. The game at the next table over was 8 handed and the game behind us was 7 or 8 handed. Both were 2/5. I don't really care about playing shorthanded and nobody else seemed to mind either. 2 new players came over about 5 minutes apart to the floorperson and asked for a 2/5 seat. He pointed them to our table but neither wanted to play shorthanded so he let them sit at the more full tables around us.

Like I said I did not really care, but I was under the impression that players should sit at the shortest game and do not get their choice? If both players sat at our table there would have been 3 almost full tables running. Instead we remained short for another 10 minutes until another table broke and joined with ours. We asked the floorperson about it and he was pretty snooty with us so we asked for the manager. The floorperson clearly prepped the manager who came over and we got the same answer, that players are not forced to sit in a shorthanded game.

Like I said, I don't care about playing shorthanded and nobody at the table seemed to mind either (half time ftw). The attitude we got from the floorperson wasn't appreciated though as he got very defensive and seemed to take our query personally. But I didn't think new players got a choice of table when there is a shorthanded game?

Those are the odds of the BB, they only send email when it gets high, and when it gets high, its due for a hit.

Okay, I'll bite. Yes the 10/20 LHE is pretty soft. Sometimes it's so soft that the elusive "in the long run" seems light years away. Plenty of chasing regardless of odds & image. I pray your AA will hold up. FWIW, many of the better players who've played this game regularly over the last couple of years now play 20/40 or NLHE. The morning games are tighter and less action than typical.
