Has gaming ever corrected a poker room ruling?

Dont know about at CAZ, but had one over turned at the fort many years ago. Playing 2-150 and someone made multiple motions moving several stacks to make a max bet, someone not in the hand call "STRING!", floor gets called, rules it a string, I call TGO and he over ruled the numbnut floor and I raised... The guy verbalized his bet, he was just soft spoken.

Cool. I didn't know they got involved in poker. Wonder if they knew why they ruled that way.

Don't know if its the same guy at the fort now or not, but the old boy that used to be there overnights knows poker better than anyone in that room. I sat and chatted with him a couple of times, he liked to hang in the poker room late night/early mornings. He was an old road gambler, been playing poker a long long time.

I used to play with Mike Krescanko in DC in a 30-60 mixed game. I'm pretty sure he moved to Phoenix, and according to what I heard got involved in managing one of the poker rooms. Be nice to say hello if he's still around the scene there since I've moved to Tucson, so if anyone knows him I'd appreciate current coordinates.

And if any of you happen to be Mike, please PM me.

ahh the Hoover Dam bridge. I was so confused, thought there was some bridge at CAZ lol.

Yeah I was just over the Dam a few days ago and it looked close but they were still closing the road down a bunch for construction. Early Nov was the last I heard also.

I cared about that bridge 3 years ago when I was a college students and my friends wanted to drive to Vegas. Now that I have a real job, my time is worth more than driving to Vegas, so I always fly now...

If you can plan ahead. For quickly decided trips the bridge will be great.

Flying from Phoenix saves maybe 3 hours each way considering you have to drive to the aiport, wait for the shuttle, deal with TSA BS, and take cab/car from the Vegas airport to the hotel. Sometimes it's worth it, but a lot of times it may not be.

Schlepping my mother thru the airport simply isn't worth it anymore so we drive and the bridge will be a huge improvement although she says she's scared of it.

btw: If anybody ever wants a list of all of the places where you can pee along the way from Phoenix to LV pm me.

It will take less than 4 hours to drive to Vegas when the bridge is done. You want to spend $200 to save at most an hour?

Have you tried driving home when shaking from lack of sleep and too much alcohol?

I'm partial to Saxby's Coffee in Boulder and the one restaurant in Parker Az. Except you have to be travelling during normal sunlit hours which for me is rare.

Sounds like you take the scenic route if you're going through Parker.

I had a 1:15 delay on the Hoover dam once at night last April. The routes were nearly a wash but maybe bridge will end that.
