Is this a stat people find useful in terms of analysing play?

What kind of % would be standard over a big sample?

EDIT: title should be 'all in EV%'

screw AI EV

Yeah I'm not too worried about the whole 'I'm whatever down in EV over blah blah'. What I mean is, if I am getting it in preflop with 48% on avarage equity, is it fair to say I am getting it in too wide? Keeping in mind I guess there is no way to measure this unless I am actually called? So would the times I am not called 'make up' for the difference?

Regarding this, better analyse it with sngwiz, because analysing the hand in hem only provokes results-oriented thinking imo

Hi 2+2!

Below is my 45 men sng graph in terms of chips won. In the highlighted area I see a lot of coin flips lost. Is it true or there's something I'm missing?

I know sample is very small but that's not the point, I just want to understand what is telling this graph. Thanks in advance!

Hey,

i there any chance that the Chip EV shows how good/ bad you are running?

Is there any Filter i can you use or a way to calculate my EV Roi for the games i played?

Thanks

I know that HM2 has this option only for cash games. And i remember that in HM1 you could see your hourly on the main report page.
Anyone know how can i check that?

Hey all,

I am not sure if this is the place for my question but here it goes.
I mostly play 4.50/180s and i have PT4 installed with a very basic HUD setup:
Name,VPIP,PFR,Hands.

I suppose those stats are enough at least for the beginning of a tournament when you multitable and you don't want a bloated HUD, but what about the the latter stages? Lets say last two tables.

Do you differentiate your HUD and how? Answers from grinders at these stakes are highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Definitely at least add steal, fold to steal, 3bet and fold to 3 bet. Pretty much mandatory for every level imo.

Is it accurate wrt $$$ won and $$$ expectation (i mean the overlay net adjusted orange one not the chips ev line obv)

i played tons of HUhypers last year and the overlay net adjusted is the graph for ev in them however i have doubts about the accuracy of it in 18mans and am a total tech noob. anybody with decent sample/ knowledge about 18mans that could shed light on this would be appreciated

Have heard so many times that EV lines doesnt say anything, everybody runs below EV some few thousands of hands other millions of hands (depending obviously of the side of the SNG/MTT you play) think its just a cash game parameter cuz of the face value and real value of each chip its the same so calculating cEV and $EV its easier for cash not the case for SNGs, so pay no attention to that

that wasnt my question tho i just want to know if that stat canbe of any use whatsoever in PT4. what i ll do with that info should be up to me no?

Hey guys,

I've been playing 45/90mans for a while now, just using my standard HEM2 configuration.

I'm looking to optimize it, does anyone have any good suggestions in terms of settings or downloadable configurations?

I use a great HUSNG one that includes a Nash popup, so any extra goodies would be ideal.

Hello, can someone give me advice please how to colour range my HUD stats for 180 man SNG:

VPIP 0-(??)
(??)-(??)
(??)-(inf)

PFR 0-(??)
(??)-(??)
(??)-(inf)

Thank you!

P.S. Sorry for my English))my first topic)

In PT4 go to the hud settings at the top then click on each stat and on the right it gives you options to change colours for ranges

Thank you, but I ask what ranges would be optimal for this type of tournament. may be someone will share their ranges)

essential stats for a SNG HUD???
10-20-2013 , 05:47 PM
Imo VPIP/PFR/AGF 3bet/fold 3bet and steals/fold vs steals stats
10-21-2013 , 01:55 PM
First Line - VPIP/PFR/3-bet/Fold to 3 bet
Second Line - Hands/Steal %age/Fold to Steal %age/C-bet %age/Fold to C-Bet %age

Done some searching but couldn't find anything .
So thought I'd ask , but playing these SnG's over the last few weeks.
Are HUD's a good idea/advantage to your game in these SnG's.
There tends to be a lot less post play as you know and shove/fold compared to mtt's.

Thanks for any input and recommendations

Players change gears too often for HUDs to be effective in SNGs. You can use it to have an idea of their playing style which is awesome. IMO, using numbers as a crunch damages your game. HUDs are best used for cash games where blinds stay the same.

Thank you just what I needed to hear

They are still very useful. You still know what sort of player someone is.

I filter the results for less than 10bb and for greater than 10bb, which helps as well.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but rather do this then start a new one.

Is there any difference between HEM and PT for MTT SNGs as of now (other than personal preference)?
