Although I've been emailing Lock quite a bit over the past four months, after this latest incident, I finally let them know in no uncertain terms that my patience had reached its limit, and it was in their best interest to get me my withdrawal immediately. And I'm happy to report that after 18 weeks I was finally able to pick up my money!

Getting paid is just most of the hassle with cashing out on Lock unfortunately. There still is more hassle from Lock even after being paid. My fee I was charged for my WU withdrawal over a week ago was promised back to me in "up to 7 days". Of course, it's been 9 days and no fee reimbursement. I almost feel like they just wait for people to not notice so they can keep the money. Ive emailed them twice since its been 7 days and they havent yet responded.

We can go into why the heck do they need to wait this long to reimburse (as if I could even cash it out quick) but bottom line is if you play on Lock be ready to fight tooth and nail for every penny you have on their site.

Took 4 months but finally got it.

Also my grocery store would only cash $500, wrote me a check for the rest and said it was store policy, is this a common thing or just my grocery?

Everytime Ive tried to do WU from a grocery they've said they dont have enough money, though none have explicitly referred to a policy of a maximum amount. Some folks on here have gotten their full amount from the grocery (not sure if it was a full 2k, but at least 4-figures). I think it depends on the time of day, as they are more likely to have more cash at certain times. Also Ive never been offered the check option when rejected by a grocery store.

Not sure how it is at your grocery store, but mine recommends coming in the mornings, because that's when they're likely to have the most money in the till. Try calling ahead to make sure they have enough before you waste a trip.

Ya I stopped going to grocery stores for this reason. Now I go to check cashing places or money stores...they seem to keep enough cash around to do it.

would it be faster if I cancel my cash out from 1-14-13 and request it again will I get it sooner then I am currently still waiting? since its almost half a years for my FU**ING funds

if grocery stores are your only option for a w/u cashout you can request that a partial amount of your cashout be paid in money orders..i did this a cou[ple of times and seemed to work ok.. just have to deal with money order fees which usually are not too bad... more headaches but if thats your on;y option it does work

Update: Received a check via FedEx today for my WU request that failed. I'll be depositing it shortly. Wanted to update the threads I had posted in for others to see the status.
