So I made a cashout last night with WU and it's my first one on this site, as I had no idea about all these horror stories of cashing out or I would have avoided this site completely. When do you guys think I can realistically expect my cashout?

I don't know if there is a real time frame. I requested mine 2 months ago and it still says "requested" in the cashier/history page. Others have been waiting 4+ months. I wouldn't buy that new Bentley just yet.

For whatever reason, checks seem to be the absolute worst form of payment from them.

There seems to be a slight uptick in WU withdrawals recently (who knows if it will persist, obviously) while people waiting on checks for the same amount of time or even longer are still in limbo.

The way Lock seems to work you will probably be paid in a month while myself and others from Jan/Feb still wait. There is no rhyme or reason to their cashouts. People from March & April have CIH...I requested 2/8 and I'm still waiting along with others. Best of luck to you!

This is sickening? Is there a lock rep that can explain why the cashouts take forever?

I was thinking about putting money on the site, but if people are selling lock for half price, then maybe I should consider otherwise? Is there a better site as far as cashouts go?

Dear God don't put money on Lock.

If you aren't American, just go to PokerStars or FTP.

If you are American, your options are more limited. I'd ask around in the IP forum for the best sites in terms of payouts/benefits. Lock is not one of them.

The site rep has "explained". For some reason, Lock cannot do what other US facing poker sites have been able to figure out - find a processor that can get payouts handled in a timely, error free fashion. And because of that, ROW payments have to suffer as well, for some reason.

Just don't put money on Lock. They don't deserve the support of the poker community at all.
