Find the head floor of the day shift and night shift, tip each $200 (it's amazing how much that'll stand out) and tell each to call you when games start up, maybe put your name on the list if it's possible, etc. Then tip when you get seats and should work out

At commerce they will pretty much always start a game as long as there are 2 ppl that want to play in my experience. The reason they don't start a 2nd table despite a huge list is bc they know none of the ppl on that list want to play eachother, they just want to play whatever fish is in the main game.

sometimes there will be 15 names on the 20-40nl and no game. no amount of tipping will get any of those people to sit unless a reg. fish shows up then everyone will clamor over and the cards will be in the air in 2.5 seconds. the regfish is never on the list. the floorman just pretends he phoned in or whatever and locks up seat 5.
03-03-2011 , 02:17 AM
how much are you supposed to tip when he calls you and you get your seat?

i don't think i've ever tipped a floor guy more than $25, but i'm cheap that way.

can't you just show up before the game starts everday? just roll up at like 1pm, sit around and play whoever will play hu before the game even starts
that sounds terribly boring
hence, lolivepoker

I was playing 20/40 PLO the other night when a drunken kido comes downstairs. live poker pros have no shame. as soon as they saw him, there was a massive rush to lock up a seat. kido was loving it. instead of sitting down and playing, he just kept trying to play over people in the 20/40 game and was going all in blind basically every hand. the pros at the other table sat there for 20 + minutes without playing one hand. they just kept trying to get kido to play but he was laughing it up, paying for massages for his friends, and kept telling me i was an ******* and wasnt going to get his seat. i love that man.

haha i def tend to agree w/ you on the first part. think he's an awful actor and his show is generally pretty lame.

Impressions get me every time. I just don't get how it's actually possible to do that.

thanks for the replies. tipping constantly for something i feel like i should get for free is so incredibly off putting. seems like the status quo though

Hello Martin,

Thank you for your email and suggestion.

Charlie Sheen is interesting Hollywood person and I sure have some laughs
watching him on the show Two and a Half Men.

Regarding your query, please note that you will need to cashout a total of
82,971.00 USD before you are able to use any other cashout method (AHCYAHACHA)

We apologize for if this is an inconvenience for you.

the trick is to show him the $200 bill, cut it in 2 halfs and giving him 1. then say he gets the other half if he calls u up for a game.

I totally made that up just right now but I could imagine it works.

Yesterday michaelsc was trying to shortstack against some fish on a ring table and asked for heads up, to which I of course told him that if he wanted a heads up match that he could move the game to a heads up table (the fish clearly did not want heads up and continued to play as the game filled up and chatted it up with the players). At that point he said "ok well maybe i will start talking about how you opened up a second account on cake."

I had never heard this before but I just want to make sure it's not a rumor other people are hearing. I've only played on one account ever on Cake, and I haven't played there in at least 1.5 years (I know I didn't play there in 2010, as I didn't have to file an FBAR, I believe I quit playing there early 2009). I'm not even sure there would be much of an advantage as you can change names, I guess people's notes wouldn't follow you? Anyways this was totally out of the blue to me so I wanted to make sure it's clear I have only played on my account on Cake, and if people are further curious I'm happy to give a Cake rep on here permission to look into it.
