Yes.

Probably at the point it becomes systematic, or outside specific situational review...though this is a pretty open question for sure.

But don't conflate "no clear line" with "must be ethical" -- that's a super poor and incorrect way to think about ethics.

our stable small compared to most and never has it once been brought up to combine data or hands, like ryan said the ev of someone bein unhappy and reporting it is far to much risk for little in way of reward, theres enough fish for everyone in spins, the beauty of them ❤️

Really hope these props happen. Will be a lot of fun to sweat.
+1. 100cev/game at 15s is probably the very upper limit of what is possible. If you could 1 table and only play when you're fresh enough to play A game, then the best regs in spins could maybe do it.

Maybe someone could be so far ahead of the average 15s winner that they can exploit a weaker pool that much. Would be very impressive to see.

abarone, or anyone else who would be willing to do this, what would be the odds you would want to be given for 90 or 100 CEV, with, lets say, 10k action from your side?

A lot of good recommendations in this thread falling on deaf ears. The head honcho of many unpopular changes across SNG's and spins is Pokerstars Baard.

Pokerstars Baard (Baard Dahl) has shown his incompetence many times in the past. There was a pokerstars glitch that caused funds not to be appropriately dispersed and it went unnoticed. Baard response and tone was sickening, as if it was the players responsibility for the glitch. Unfortunately this is the status quo under new pokerstars management. Now that I look at it, he hasnt posted in over 6 months and was replaced with Pokerstars Kieth to address concerns on twoplustwo so this can be ignored. Who seems much more respectful so this is a net win.

By the off-chance Baard dahl happens to read this; while you are in a position of power at pokerstars, please do not abuse it! I understand that professionals are a threat to pokerstars new business model but its important to treat people with decent level of respect. No matter what job you are in.

i vaguely rmbr discussing with someone and they said that 5 chips is not exactly = 1% roi or at least that its not perfectly linear, does someone know what im talking about and why?
** Official Spin and Go's Discussion Thread ** Quote

5 chips correspond to 0.92-0.95 percent points of ROI depending on the rake because the average prize pool is 2.76-2.85 BIs corresponding to 1500 chips.

The relationship can be assumed linear for simplicity, though the probability of winning the tourney is not exactly proportional to the current number of chips in the stack (someone who has 1350 chips can't extract as much value from a weaker player than if the stacks were both equal to 750; his chance of winning the tourney is not much more than 90% in the former case and may be over 55% in the latter case if the blinds are yet low) and it matters a tiny bit for the ROI at which stage of the tourney the reg tends to win chips.

At the end of the day, I was out of line with this post. Its not fair to put the blame on one man; he is just doing his job albeit for a shady company which has a dwindling reputation for professionalism.

To all those supernova elites who got completely shafted. Big middle finger to pokerstars. PokerstarsBaard -- hope you consider my apology for above. You are just doing your job, my bad.

That's subject to him proving to the Canadian Revenue Agency that he was recreational at the time of the bink. He has a high chance for this but will probably suffer some legal consultancy expenses.

lol i was a pro for 4 years before i won $220,000 on UB in 2011 as a canadian.

yeah, taxes, lol, lol, lol my banks never even question the constant 10k wire xfers.. i keep 100% of my winnings.

poker is my sole income and ive literally NEVER paid taxes on any poker winnings, no matter how big, in almost 10 years. because only an idiot would claim to be a poker pro in canada.

esp the fact that he won a jackpot spin & go a game thats a 1:1,000,000 shot how could CRA (or anyone) ever argue thats a game of skill? spins are no different then slots/lotto unless you get lucky the house is gonna win
