At least my VIP contact wrote back to me and said it was, "based on your login activity and the fact that we cannot actually prove your constant residence in Mexico as you have also stated that you are traveling back to the USA pretty often. Considering the fact that you are a US citizen and our additional verification procedures which apply in such cases, we are not able to offer you our services in the future."
Not sure if spending a day at the Consulate getting my FM2 would have made a difference or not. And boo on me at failing the competent lawyer test and offering up honest relevant info.
Sounds more like nittiness similar to some banks, I guess. Should have just been happy with my non-VIP status. 
So it massively blows, and at the same time it's fun to play the "get money off conveniently with as little vig as possible" game. Had a pretty good system going with Skrill > Canadian USD acct. > write check to USA acct. Still net suckage overall, but part of me does like playing this figure-out-a-good-solution game.
Hopefully I can get back on Neteller. Haze there is it's been 6 years, I don't even know my old acct # (I've figured out 10 of the 12 digits), and both of my attempts to contact them have been rebuffed without my acct info.
Worst case Stars sends wires/courier checks, it should be pretty eazy-peazy to open a pesos bank account (hopefully it'd stay open once poker wires come/checks are cashed - that's the Big Question), and there's currency booths all over Tijuana giving above market rates on their-USD-for-my-pesos. That would be a lololololtastic way to battle the vig. Reallllyyyy don't want to have to resort to that.

Sucks about the account being closed. Multiply it by about 10x and that's how us landlocked US players feel everytime we try to cashout

Parece horrible, pero no es tan malo considerando todas las cosas.
If you buy a condo, you can pay Telmex, et. al. several hundred bucks to run a wire in, and get some good internet.Just another thing to deal with, at least when it blips out I can switch to my Telcel stick in 30-60 seconds.

Lol, I almost put a "no offense Samer" qualifier in there, but didn't think you were around.
But yeah, Lebanon almost gets a fishy note based on country alone (no offense Samer). Although it seems the players from there (and there are a number on Stars) often go about things in a more unpredictable/funky way with more gears, it's just usually (but not always) coming from a casual player mindset/experience level. Maybe if there was reliable internet (and street addresses ), more grinders would develop out of the younger population.
BTW, when is Casino du Liban hosting the Middle East high roller poker championships, and are European-Americans eligible to come lose their money?

I'm just waiting for you to say something Gramps.. I'm always watching mwahaha. Seriously though we do groom some of the biggest fish on the planet over here. I still need to put up a thread to see if someone will stake me in all the weekly MTT and SNGs. Not sure if they'll ever do another 5 or 10k buyin like they did a few years back, but weekly they have $500 - $2k SNGs and MTTs starting at $500 rebuys and Freezeouts $1k-$3k. Just insane money to poker knowledge ratio flying around. Come out here anytime, Americans are quite beloved around these parts.

Checking in at ~330k VPPs. I'm sitting here, waiting for a delivery between the hours of 10-2. Shockingly they didn't come in the first 30 minutes of that time window 
I've been dabbling a bit in the NLO8 SNGs because it's fun to try and learn a new game from the ground up, and I think it's always a good investment to "pre-learn" new structures that might later expand. Did it with FT Super Turbos (the old $160+9) and Stars hypers. Right now they only have $30 as the max buyin, but those pop at 5/hour sometimes, so maybe they'll add a $100 buyin eventually.
Finally sat down today and started looking at NLO8 all-in in HU showdowns, entering them in at twodimes, and playing the game of guessing what the equities will be and why. Then maybe change one card, then another, suits, etc. to try to advance past super-newb status in learning PF hand equities. It's how I learned the preflop game in NLHE tournaments/SNGs at the most basic level back in 2003 when I was brand new to poker.
After a lot of effort, I got the correct e-mail address for Neteller re: old accounts (they c*block you from even talking to customer support for the most part) and asked them what I need to get my account re-instated. It's now a week later, and I'm going to have to send another email and hope for a reply this time.
I'll probably try to open a Mexican bank account in TJ next week, hello 5% vig!!! Maybe I'll play an extra live tourney or two with the SNE discount and sell ~50% just to spite vig a bit, even if it costs me $EV.
Redline is hanging in good, very nice to run hot. My lifetime hypers graph looks less gross (for now). Again, been around the block too many times, it's mostly play money, it's pretty easy for $50-$100k to evaporate pre-RB at the buyins I'm playing.
If I run neutral $EV for the year I'll be ecstatic, given the volume I've been putting in. I'm basically trying to keep my redline going up, and count the RB as money earned. Looks like I'll get to around ~450k VPPs by the end of the Month, hopefully I can do >300k in March.
And I recently hit 5 million lifetime VPPs with Stars. Get a nice engraved Tag Heuer watch, and get to choose a Stars employee as my "personal liason." Think they might be giving out a few more with the expansion of hyper buyins.
