Rayz any good advice or tips for nyc? Where did you guys stay? I’m going end of April for the first time, and oddly enough I’m also gonna propose there! Looks like a fun trip.
We stayed at Hilton Double Tree in Manhattan. Great location.
Tips:
Central Park is cool and free. John Lennon memorial, famous carousel, zoo, 100+ acres.
Top of the Rock observatory is cool $35. They say it’s a better view than Empire State Building.
Same building as NBC studio to see Fallon or SNL.
5th Ave for all ur high end clothing shops, plus other reasonable stores.
The famous Trump tower if is around there...
Staten Island Ferry is free and is the best way to view Statue of Liberty. Boats right past it. We took it, got off, and came back on another ferry.
Museum of Modern Art is $25/adult 16 under free and is 6 floors of the most famous artist of all times. Starry Night is a must see.
Times Square at night if u wanna get ur model pic on. Lol
Rockefeller center ice rink
St. Patrick’s Cathedral has incredible architecture.
9/11 Memorial.
9/11 Museum is free on Tuesday 5-7. Gotta get there early to assure ur ticket.
Subway is the way to travel to further distance. $2.75/person and is quick and easy.
Walking the Brooklyn Bridge is neat for photo ops.
Grand Central Station has a 20million$ clock, cool building, and crazy busy w people traveling.
Wall Street NYSE if u about the money.
We booked through Groupon and saved a little. Loved our spot. Walking distance to most everything, subwayed to some other spots.
