Rayz any good advice or tips for nyc? Where did you guys stay? I’m going end of April for the first time, and oddly enough I’m also gonna propose there! Looks like a fun trip.

We stayed at Hilton Double Tree in Manhattan. Great location.

Tips:
Central Park is cool and free. John Lennon memorial, famous carousel, zoo, 100+ acres.

Top of the Rock observatory is cool $35. They say it’s a better view than Empire State Building.
Same building as NBC studio to see Fallon or SNL.

5th Ave for all ur high end clothing shops, plus other reasonable stores.
The famous Trump tower if is around there...

Staten Island Ferry is free and is the best way to view Statue of Liberty. Boats right past it. We took it, got off, and came back on another ferry.

Museum of Modern Art is $25/adult 16 under free and is 6 floors of the most famous artist of all times. Starry Night is a must see.

Times Square at night if u wanna get ur model pic on. Lol

Rockefeller center ice rink

St. Patrick’s Cathedral has incredible architecture.

9/11 Memorial.

9/11 Museum is free on Tuesday 5-7. Gotta get there early to assure ur ticket.

Subway is the way to travel to further distance. $2.75/person and is quick and easy.

Walking the Brooklyn Bridge is neat for photo ops.

Grand Central Station has a 20million$ clock, cool building, and crazy busy w people traveling.

Wall Street NYSE if u about the money.

We booked through Groupon and saved a little. Loved our spot. Walking distance to most everything, subwayed to some other spots.

Loved the subway travel when I was there. It's awesome when big cities have their **** figured out and you can basically walk anywhere or have public transportation. Amsterdam did the best job of this I've ever seen, wish we could take a lesson from them.

Hey @tswpoker I’m gonna reach out for tips when I hit Amsterdam up. It’s on my list of places to go. I always wanted to go to NYC and now I can cross that one off. Amsterdam will get done eventually as well.

Home now and unpacked. That feeling of home sweet home is real.
Bad beat of the trip came a few moments ago when I realized I left my UniGlo shopping bag in the room.

$2300 current #moneywall.

3 things to report as we go forward
.

1). To show #fulltranpsarency I am choosing to show money pics instead of chip picks. Getting banned put a nix on the chip porn, so guess we show bennys to 50k.

1a). Keeping 2k in the bank at all times, the rest will be shown in #moneypic. Such as;
2k bank (not shown) + $300 #moneypic = $2300 current lifeBankroll #moneywall.

2). Reserve our Tesla w a 1$k deposit at $5k #moneywall. Thanks to the recommendation of @Uberkuber (Currently $2300)

3). Now #WeGamble. We can finally get around to 2018 #gamblemission

3a). Starting in April and the following months... Our monthly poker earnings will be as is:
•keep $1k for bills
• put $1k towards #moneywall.
The rest goes all on a shot take(s). *For a shot take to take place I wd hv to make more than 2k that month. (There will b no make-up the next month if I don’t make 2k the prior month.)
I may just leave those shot takes up to u guys. *The shot take will take place the following month.

Any questions or ideas lmk.

If you call the hotel and ID what was in the bag and the room number good chance they offer to ship it to you collect. Have done this with a Double Tree when I left something on a work trip.

Tried, but the 60yarder was wide right.

That maid did seem a little ‘Ace up her sleeve’ type. I hope someone appreciates their new UniQlo wardrobe.

+169$ playing 1/2. Nothing too interesting on hands I played, so gonna hold off a hh for something better. It was pretty much a day where I was never in a tricky spot.
+75$ RTA. A bit cold on the court, but the students were having fun.

Nothing wrong with easily grinding $30+/hr and not never being put in a tough spot.

@DaNit ur right. Today I had one tricky spot.

OMB: Ole man before noon beer guy had a high VPIP and a low VPFR. He pretty much just a preflop caller type guy. $300 stack.
1/2nl

After 4 limps I raise to $12 w AQ ($400 stack). OMB in bb calls, and 2 other limp/call.

4 to the flop. Pot $45
Flop: 37A

Checks all around to me, and I lay out $23. OMBeer before noon ch/calls.

HU. Pot $91
Turn: 7

OMB this time takes the lead and bets $40, I call.

Pot $171
River: 9

OMB bets $40 again. i tank for a bit, not really liking my spot.

I’m not too good at the pokerz but the turn and river seem like calls where you end up losing 3 out 4 times.
