I was able to see the mindset of a Pro Poker Player over a 6 year period condensed down to a few months.
I'm rooting for you

Pm me ur address if u want that shirt.
U keyed in on an important word, “mindset”. The most important attribute to being a successful poker player. Poker is tough, heartbreaking, gut wrenching, and whirlwind of emotions. Only the strong minded survive in this game.
Ur post came at a gd time for 2 different reasons.
One, been thinking about hanging it up here, for I feel I may be getting on peoples’ nerves. Prob hv lost a lot of my audience for one reason or another, and mayb I’m the only one left. 2+2 has been gd therapy and my personal journal, but has it ran its course? Maybe
Anyhow, ur post reminded me why I gv it so much time. Thanks.
Secondly, I had a rough day. The 1/2nl was playing w a reg $10 straddle.
Lost aipf AA < QQ (flop set) for $500.
Lost aipf AK < 88. 88 4bet shoved, I called. (Me limp$10, V raise$50, Me 3bet to $150, V shoves and covers my $400. I call.) Brick city.
Lost $800 ish on the day.
So when u talk “mindset”, I hv to just get back at it the next day. I know my skills and know I’m unbeatable in he long run. So off to Columbus tomo and Thurs cause that’s what we do. We hv to shrug it off @Rustic Road.
Cd hv very easily been a $1k+ day if Aces held and can win a flip. #mindset
