Things didn't go so well for me over the last few hours. Couldn't win a hand all in. Finally variance is starting to take a toll on me.

Going to try and put in a bunch more games tonight, no NHL to watch so why not.

Going to give multi-tabling a shot for my next 10 games to see how much I have improved at it.

Was feeling kind of rattled about the past few tournaments and was starting to tilt a bit. I took a break to look over my excel and I am actually only 17-17 today. Feels like I am way below that but everything adds up and I am batting .500 for the day.

I will remember this next time I get frustrated. It is never as bad as it seems.

Starting a little session here tonight, and not going to multi-table like I said before. This thread needs a little excitement tho so here is some motivation from the champ.

What a weird day. Started off by me running kind of bad which had me a bit angry as I should have been up several buy ins instead of even. This led to me playing pretty poorly and losing focus. I was multi- tabling and I am just not ready for that yet, maybe never will be.

Anyways, I planned on hitting the Casino tomorrow but was upset at how my play had slipped and how I had dropped several buy ins. So before I went to bed I decided to play one $60 husng as I knew I would be totally focused and play my A game. That I did.

I ended up winning, the first game and decided to play another as I had played nearly perfect. I went on to play 8 games total and ended up with a (6-2) record.

I looked up each player, and oddly enough every player I beat was up a ton of cash, the two guys I lost to were both losing players.

The jump to 60s is much harder than I thought tho, some very solid play. It is late at night however and traffic is dead but the guys I went up against were rock solid. I may mix in 60s but unless the opponents are a bit easier when traffic is up I don't think it would be as profitable for me compared to the 30s at this point.


Heading to the casino for first time in a while tomorrow, not sure if I am going to like having to beat 8 other guys compared to 1.

I suggest you stick first to single tabling.
I tried 3 tabling without HEM and the results were tragic!
Ended up losing 20 BI oh well.

Thanks. Yes every time I try and multi-table I think I reduce my win rate to about 51%, and that is only 2 tables. I couldn't imagine 3 tabling. BR $1600

Above is from the first post in the thread. When I look at my progress and compare it to my goals I think we can call it a success.

I currently sit only 51 vpp's away from Gold Status

I avoided the 30s, and even managed to test the waters in the 60s

I have improved play as well as consistency/schedule.

I have doubled my Bankroll from $800 to $1600.

The one area I could improve is more review and studying. I will work a ton on that for these next few days before I re-set goals for February.

Off to go get those gold stars!

how long it take you to double ur roll?
id stick to 1 tabling aswell u spot more key situations that are vital. also adding table for HU is more for your hourly than anything because you play 20 games a day id say you dont need to.

Thanks for the advice. I am going to stick to one tabling as my main goal is improvement and not volume.

It took me just over a week to double my roll. Started the thread with $800 on the 19th of January. Currently roll sits at $1800 including rake back.

I lost track of my record for the thread but will start again keeping track on a daily basis starting February 1st.

I also plan on making a new list of goals for February. Hopefully I will have that posted sometime tomorrow.

Going to really study/review these next few days then pick up the volume again in February.

Gold stars have me on a bit of a heater right now, won my last 3 flips!

With February only 2 days away I can happily say that January was a huge success. My play continues to improve each day and I am being rewarded with positive results! I was able to get gold status, increase my BR for the 60s, and improve my approach to the game. What more could I ask for....Well that was January, we are putting that behind us on moving on to the next set of goals.

Starting February 1st I will be back to my consistent schedule of a certain set number of games per day. I am hoping that everything will run smoothly and that I can follow the schedule that I have set out below.

• February 1st-5th - $30s (x30) $60s (x5)
• February 6th-10th - $30s (x20) $60s (x10)
• February 11th-12th - Break/Rest
• February 13th-18th - $30s (x10) $60s (x20)
• February 19th-23rd - $30s (x10) $60s (x20)
• February 24th - Break/Rest
• February 25th-28th - $30s (0) $60s (x30)

If I am able to follow this schedule I will achieve Platinum status, and hopefully make $2-$3k while doing so. It won't be easy but I am looking forward to the challenge.

I plan on reviewing hands every day. The Break/Rest is actually booked off for plans I have made. Won't be able to stars at all those days so prepping in advance.

FEBRUARY! Finally feb has come and I am again motivated to start putting in some serious volume! I couldn't wait until the morning and decided to get an early start by playing a 5 game session. I ended up going (3-2) but am very happy with how I played almost every hand in the 5 games. Easily could have been 5-0.

I am going to post my results here on a daily basis but I am going to try my best not to be results oriented. Tomorrow I am going to play another 25( 30s) and mix in 5 (60s).

I will then spend a significant amount reviewing my hands for the day. Good luck to everyone in February, going to be an awesome month!

Also I am going to try and post at least one hand a day in this thread as well as posting graphs.

Other things that I plan on doing in February are

• Watch one video from husng.com every day
• Post atleast one hand in this thread everyday
• Label players on PS and take better notes for every opponent
• Buy some searches on SharkScope and begin to search my opponents on a regular basis

Hey GL dude. Sure we've prob played b4 as playing same levels. SN same as here. Although I play reg speeds but mixing in more turbos. Sure I've seem you sitting. yeah I think a cheap SS subscription option is worth it. Just an extra bit of info before the game starts. Yeah I think vids have helped me even more then reviewing my games. GL mate and will follow

The day started out rough as I couldn't get a hand to hold. If it ever did hold it was in a $30, as I wouldn't have any luck in the 60s. As the day progressed my luck took a turn for the best, I went on a nice little heater to close out the night and end the day with a nice record.

30s (22-12)
60s (2-3)

Aside from playing pretty solid today I was also able to label all of my opponents and take some good notes aswell. Another positive to take away from the first day of the Month.

Tomorrow I need to finalize my HUD, buy some SS searches, and of course grind my 35 games.

In the morning I will review my play and be sure to post a hand for review before I hit the tables.

Day 1=Success!

Not a big deal but yesterday my record in 30s was actually (20-10) as I try and stick to my set schedule of 30 (30s) and 5(60s) for the next 5 days.

Here is a hand I need to let go. Villain was fishy but that doesn't mean they won't pick up a hand every once and a while. I was ale to battle back to get the chip lead but lost a race late.

All I can really beat is a bluff and he has me beat here way more often than he is bluffing. Should have been an easy fold but I had the tunnel vision on...Hopefully posting this mistake will allow me to avoid future situations like this.

So I am sure you are all just as frustrated as I am right now. Poker Stars SNG's have been down all day and I find myself with nothing to do.

Realizing how I will need to find the time to pick up the volume I have watched a weeks worth of videos today, so my afternoon isn't a total waste.

Hopefully things get back to normal ASAP as I am itching to grind.

Well today really sucks. Stars finally gets things going about an hour ago.

I start my journey for the day with the 60s. I go 1-1 in my first two matches. In the third match I get sat by a soft player. He ends up stacking me pretty quickly by hitting a set on a paired board.

Luckily for me he sits for a rematch. He keeps making poor play after poor play before he ends up stacking me again....almost. I was left with 20 chips. From 20 chips I grew my stack progressively. As this happened he kept getting more and more nervous and kept saying, this should be over you were at 20 bla bla bla... Sitting at 800 I was able to double up with A7 vs his Ace 3. I now had the chip lead.

Very next hand he raised 3x to 150, I had K10 and decided this could easily be a tilt raise. Plus I couldn't really lose all in so I tried to test my luck once again by jamming. He flipped 77s, I was a race away from coming back from 20 chips!!!!!

The 7s held and my comeback was all for not.

I look for a third match and fist pump as he accepts once again. However no window opens. I look in the PS lobby and its has stopped working once again.

Stars is holding $60 of mine but more importantly is prohibiting me from playing this guy again.

What a long day.......

Yeah stars has $60 of mine locked up whilst I was sitting two fishbowls. I sat at my pc for two hours waiting to see if the tables would return, reeeeeeally annoying.
