In my opinion it is pretty close whether to call or fold. Slight lean towards the call but don't like how often we are dominated here.

Is there anything we should do preflop to avoid this situation? Limp, Jam, 3x, or do we just stick to our original plan.

nothing wrong with your play there either villain has around 13bbs and when u x2 and he jams he can have such a wide range/re steal also more often or not in that situation you are flipping again fairly standard!

I wouldn't 3bet QTo here, think it's better to have it in your oop flatting range. I'd rather 3bet premiums (ofc) and the bottom of your flatting range/top of your folding range, like 76o, T5s, J7o, Q2s, etc.

As played I'd bet the turn.

Thanks for the tips guys......Sorry to fill the thread with such boring hands but these situations come up so often that it is important. Here is the last one of the day, for now at least. The player limped, then shoved my my bet earlier then he decided to do it again. What kind of range can we put him on here? We only need 40% to call so I think it is another standard call but I don't like putting my chips in these situations much. Anyways here it is. Thanks again.

Generalization but when I used to play HU on Stars, a lot of the limp, shove stuff meant that they generally have Q9 dominated or you're in a race with two overs to their smaller pair. Lean more toward the dominated part.

Lost my first two matched of the day. Then ended up recording my next 3 matched and WON them all. So 3-2 for the day. Anyone have any suggestions on what the best way to share the videos would be?

Have won 5 straight now while recording my play. Maybe it is another good form of motivation. Here is had that I had problems with today.

I wasn't sure what to do here and debated my options for quite some time. I was carried away with how much to bet, even considered flat calling, and jamming....Anyways, I ended up timing out. BRUTAL- I was pissed of at myself enough to regain focus and was able to come back and win the match but what should we do here? Thanks

You should post info/leaks/patterns about your villains in order to get good opinions/answers.
Its all about adjusting. How much is he 3betting, preflop ? Cbets, donks, betsizing ?

                  Without any reads
Fold preflop. What do you expect by calling preflop ?
By calling with for example J10 Q9, often you will have to stack off at marginal spots.
I would call flop and call/shove any turn.

Readless, i think its call > raise. Not much else to do without having any read on villain. Folding is obv out of the question.

Also nice going so far, man. Will be following. Gl

Hey All, thanks for the advice on the hands I posted today. I have only played 10 games so far today. And going by the thread so far I am sure you could guess my record....you bet (6-4).

Hoping to play 10 more tonight but may play them in the morning depending on how I am feeling. Off to a movie for now. GL

Going to start my daily 20 game schedule soon. Just need to go over a few hands.

I have a HUD, don't use it religiously. Don't really know how best to take advantage of it at the moment. New too all the stats and stuff.

I can post some graphs and stuff at some point. I just need to transfer the hands into 1 HUD as I currently play on 2 separate computers. (Lap+Desktop)

Not playing great today. Played a guy 10 games in a row and I ended up just falling into patterns, not playing optimally. Went (5-5) vs him.

Not including the early games today I am 10-8 this afternoon.

I will work on the graphs, which also reminds me I need to better set up my HUD. I am sure it would have helped in the 10 game session today.

You nailed it. Normally I only like to play a match a few times, otherwise I adjust to much to their style and my game weakens.

He would raise 3x almost every hand and wouldn't call too many of my 3 bets so I was able to steal a lot of chips from him pre flop. I thought this was enough of an advantage to keep playing him. His end game was also pretty weak but we didn't get their that often given his aggressive style.

Going to work on it these next few days and hopefully will give them a shot Feb 1st.

Yesterday was a blur, Played way more games than I normally do. I don't really want to spend much time discussing yesterday as I really want to move on to a new day. Don't feel like I played strongly yesterday and am looking to a fresh start today. Ended up with a record of (22-18) on the day but ran a bit above EV.

Highlight of the day was being recognized on the tables for the first time by a fellow 2p2.

I sat down, had a brief chat with JpJp7, and a few hands later he had stacked me! Was a fun loss though, he played a strong game and his bet sizing was very impressive. Thanks for the game jpjp7!

Just lost two matches with AA and KK after I slow played them perfectly pre flop.

Going to take a small break for the day. Using 700 of my fpps, to play in the Big $11 for a change of pace. Starts in 25 mins.

                  (8-6) HU today.

                  OUT

Forgot how long those tournaments take. Villain check raised me on the river when the flush hit. Knew I was beat but had just given away 60% of my stack and made the lazy call knowing how many more hours I would have had to play.

Going to stick to the15 minute matches
