Had a few good days after my -$20k day, but today had another -$11k day. Pretty annoying as was doing okish until I ran 5 times into AA AI pre in 20min(!!), 3x @ 2k and 2x @ 5k, had AK 3 times, AQs once and JJ once (and sucked out once at 2k). Also had some other really tilting hands. Still ended only down 1.7bi, welcome to high stakes.
Will not post the above AI pre hands as kind of standard but will post some other hands:

Month has been incredibly bumpy, besides my worst day @ -$20k, I also had 2 more days < @ -10k. On the other side I also had a couple above $10k, including my second best day ever yesterday @ $15k. Guess this is pretty standard now that I play 5k, still need time to get used to. Also sucks that I run worse at higher stakes and quite a bit under EV. Don't think that I always played my best poker this month either. Anyway, here is my (not so great) month to date:
sorry to hear about the bad run in highstakes, good luck the rest of the month!
Hey I had a quick question, you went from 10NL to 200NL in a year and was beating the games consistently. You mentioned you started off by reading and playing 1 table. Can you please explain to me what approach you used? (did you play like 4 hours a day, study for 4 hours, etc) (did you build your bankroll up from 10NL or did you beat that stake, then make a huge deposit and played higher games?)
I'm just curious how you progressed so fast! Thanks!!
Actually I went from 10nl to 200nl in 6 months. Though I was stuck there for 9 month after as all my attempts to move up failed until I switched to 6max. As to the process I played 1 table for just a few days and then slowly increased the tables. Did not have rigorous approach, was playing maybe 4 hours most days after work and reading & posting some at work. Also never had a strict bankroll management (I have tons saved from my banking days anyways) but it was more like moving up when I felt ready for it.
Oh as to bad run at highstakes, I had a $15.2k day yesterday Not quite my best day, as I made exactly $22.70 more on my best day Maybe month can be rescued after all
Haha, i remember back when we used to talk when u were at work and playing 100 and i was at 200, now i'm at 100 and your 5k. How the **** did this happen? haha
Had another day over $15k, actually $100 or so less than my best and my second best day. Also this makes it the third day in a row where I made over $14.5k (not counting Sunday where I mainly played tourneys and made only a few $k in a few hundred hands). Pretty sick heater, my best ever by a mile. Will try and post some graphs and a couple of hands later.
Day off today so thought I post some of the promised graphs. Here is the month to date:
Take note of the $40k d/s which has been my biggest ever and pretty scary. Interesting though that the d/s is pretty non-existent if we look at the month in bb:
Also had my biggest pot ever in bb yesterday, CO is a reg, Bu is a whale (can post some more if there is demand):
Preflop: Hero is SB with K A
2 folds, CO raises to $60, BTN calls $60, Hero raises to $300, BB folds, CO calls $240, BTN calls $240
Flop: ($920) J Q T (3 players)
Hero bets $614.39, CO calls $614.39, BTN calls $614.39
Turn: ($2,763.17) 2 (3 players)
Hero bets $1,410.49, CO raises to $1,962.11 and is all-in, BTN calls $1,962.11, Hero calls $551.62
River: ($8,649.50) 4 (3 players, 1 is all-in)
Hero bets $1,649.17 and is all-in, BTN calls $711.08 and is all-in
Spoiler:
Results: $10,071.66 pot ($3 rake)
Final Board: J Q T 2 4
CO showed J Q and lost (-$2,876.50 net)
BTN showed K K and lost (-$3,587.58 net)
Hero showed K A and won $10,068.66 ($6,481.08 net)
Well Bu is a whale so I leave it to you to decide yourself whether his play was good or not. As to CO I personally think turn was a bit optmistic but maybe he had some reads on me that warranted his play.
