Assume it's been classified 'advertising'

I really think if they deleted it for advertising it's pretty big joke. Not only have other people done similar ones previously this was supposed to be all about the ups and downs of staking and there was clear goals and challenge a in the thread with even guaranteed money going to charity etc.

I've always had blogs on here throughout my poker career and they've always been popular because I speak honestly and this is the next step of the poker career that I do day in day out.

There was already a tonne of traffic and even people signed up to the forum so that they could contribute in the thread.

I'm not trying to freeroll 2p2, I've been a paying advertiser for years on the site and respect its terms and conditions.

Would be really really sad if they chose not to reopen the thread and think especially in a day and age where people don't want to write about poker much or give our free information I was going to do tonnes of free content, speak a lot about high stakes strategy etc.

Hope others would be equally as annoyed if it stays down too.

Who should we be pming to ask it to be reposted? Obv if zimas was allowed this one should be too.

I was looking forward to following the BitBStaking thread. Don't see how it would be classified as "advertising" whatsoever as the stable already has a paid thread in the offering stakes section where I would think most people in need of a stake are going to look first!

I will definitely not be annoyed if a blog with free strategy is taken down for obvious reasons. The competition has gotten harder at a faster pace the past two years and a lot of that has to do with stables and also people that post blogs with good content that are free to access.
Some of these people have good reasons like attracting new horses, some don't make significant money of it and just want to boost their ego.
When I read the blog I thought 'smart way to find some new horses'. I really hope you did post it because you want to make your stable grow, otherwise I hope that van with all your important stuff gets stolen before it arrives at it's destination

Ridicilous imho. As someone pointed out, stable is already very well-known which reduces the advertising part by a large margin. Also ridicilous there is no official statement about this and they just delete it and that's it. Not sure who was the moderator who took that decision, but seems like the decision was made too quick and without consulting other mods. Hope it gets re-openened soon.

Meh - as a paid advertiser the thread should be re-opened imo. Would have been uber interesting for a tonne of people. If not maybe you would be allowed to move it into the paid thread perhaps in staking forum.

It's very possible it has been taken down to be discussed among the mods. If someone wasn't sure what to do they may have taken it down as a precautionary measure until a decision could be made internally.

lol this is so absurd reasoning, you are not ok if info is free but ok if someone charge $$$ for it, because if players access to XYZ for free in bitb 2+2 thread (not every one read 2+2 btw) games will get significantly tougher, just lol, get real man

there is so much free(not expensive, for ex. you can just pay one month full subscription for any training side you want,choose and record videos from that site with smth like camtasia or w/e and then study them) info + trial period for most tools so if someone is not lazy and want to improve he can with working hard on his game

They could promote themselves for free on youtube/twitch/twitter/whatever. Also they could open a blog somewhere else and it will get enough viewers. Also they are already paying taxes for advertising here.

It looks like a close-minded way to look at the rules. The type of thing a goverment would do, politics.

I think its wrong.

Mods wrote to me that they really liked the thread and the traffic was impressive but if they allow it then loads of coaches, stables, affiliates will start making blogs.

Pretty sad they think it's like that as I've been active blogging since I was playing $5 sngs and always been very public about stuff such as buying a bar, staking, upswings, depression (loldepression) etc. this is next stage of my career and it's something lots of people asked if I would speak more about. I have 5000 posts here, have met some of my best friends in the world here and I am active for probably 1-2 hours every day for 2-3 years here.

I hope they can realise I am not just doing this to plug my stuff and that whilst that's obviously a benefit im more than happy to continue being a paging advertiser something I've done for years now.

Let's hope boba fett reconsiders.

Did you ask them where they see the difference to zimas staking blog which was active for around two years?
