Days 16 and 17:

Haven't really played much last couple of days but thought I would do an update anyway! Volume has been low and I have pretty much been breakeven, not really much to say about it.



I have watched a couple of Ph33rox's "giveback" videos. Without going to much into it for various reasons, he had some kind of issue with Sharky and everyone in the husng forum tried to help him out, so he decided to help out the forum by making a few videos. I thought that was really good of him, and the videos are excellent (and free!). I have watched 2 and have enjoyed them. He is obviously very good, I have learned from both of the ones I have watched and my favourite part about them is that they are like 15 mins long, I can't concentrate for a whole 60 minute video, I guess I have ADD or something but I just can't do it. I have not really paid any attention to stars VIP system so far but it has come to my attention that I am really close to platinum star but I only have like two days to get it.



It will prob make a reasonable difference to my rakeback for next month so I guess I should grind it out. I need about 750vpp which looks like about 250 games at the 30s so that is my new priority! I am going to try to get them in today and tomorrow and be platinum as a mother****er. Think if I hit it I will have a full day off on 1st of Oct and play GTA and hang out!

Day 18:

I have been having internet problems all day so I am just going to cut it short and go for dinner and hope it is fixed tomorrow.

Today was great, I ran well and a load of fish were just giving it away. Good combo.



Week 3:

It has been a good week. A few downers in there but overall I played well, much improved from the first week, and I think I ran pretty well too

Missed volume, like always, but got in a coaching session and watched a couple of videos as well as almost making that EV$$$ which is great.

Spoke to my coach/backer today and if next week is decent then I get a shot at the 6os the week after. I also have a couple of specific vids I need to watch and I want to keep my EVROI high this week so I am going to go for less volume and play really focused and well all this week.

Week 4 Goals:

September Review:]

First things first, today. A good way to end the month, but I missed out on Platinum star, mainly through poor time management and organisation which has made me feel pretty bad. But hey, at least my EVROI was good today and I got in some volume:

Day 19:



So my first month as a HUSNG pro is over! It's actually been 3 weeks and 1 day! I have played ~92 hours and studied around 8 for about 100 hours total, which I am OK with for 22 days. I think 130 hours of poker/study is going to be my bare minimum going forward.

I think I have come a long way this month. I started off not really knowing if I could actually beat the 30s and now I am almost certain that I can. I actually passed the 100 buy in EV$$$ mark lifetime which is a pretty cool stat I thought:



And for the month I ran at over 3% EVROI and just under $1 per game which is a real goal of mine at the 30s:



My biggest disappointment is my volume. I think 2100 games in 3 weeks is pretty poor, but I think I may have overestimated how many games I could get in per hour at the 30s which may explain it. Going forward it looks like 3k games a month may be tricky while 2 tabling but I will continue to have that as my aim.

As I said in a previous post, if all goes well, I will be taking my first shots at the 60s next week. I expect it to be tough, especially for the first couple of weeks, as all the regs sit me and try to stop me moving up, but I am hoping I can hold my own against them, run good, and manage to stay up and establish myself at the 60s this month. I think that is my main goal for October!

Day 21 (and 20 kinda)

Been slacking recently, decided to have tuesday night off, was getting a little burnt out, and played GTA all night. However my GTA addiction has formed and it stopped me playing too much yesterday too, so I really need 200+ games today and to beat my personal most games in a day record!

Results have not been great, breakeven pretty much the last two days. I had a 6 game stretch where I lost everyone with 0 equity which was pretty ridiculous, as u can see from the graph.



Watched one vid, need to watch another today and a third on friday!

Day 22:

Well yesterday went not so great. I managed to lose ~10 buy ins in EV to one of the biggest fish I've played thus far in hypers in like 30 games. He called 100% pf and folded <20% to cbet and I didn't manage to hit any pairs I had to stop playing after that, too tilted so didn't get too much volume in



Aw well, today is a new day, going to channel my inner goldman and turn it around!

Well today was better. Battled a couple of regs who wouldn't stop sitting me and it went pretty well, watched half of the second video and I will probably be busy tmrw so sunday will likely be a big study day!

Yo noobis, sorry not been on all weekend. Im guessing around 10k, not done a full month yet

Week 4:



Disastrous week. Not much volume, ran horribly, breakeven EV, losing actual $. All round very bad.

I think I have run fairly badly for all of this thread so far but this week has been horrific, constant coolers, set ups and awful card distribution.

I also haven't spent as much time either at the tables or away from the tables studying as I should have so that is my big aim for next week, to stick to more of a schedule.
I am going to spend at least 30 mins before I start playing every weekday watching a video and making notes. I don't enjoy watching videos and stuff but I know it is what I need to do to improve so I am going to try to make it more of a routine so I just get it done and out of the way first thing everyday.

I am also going to get in more volume this week, I'm aiming for 800 games and I really think I need to hit a volume target for once! I am also going to try to beat my personal best of 201 games in a day this week! I think I can do that, either tomorrow or Tues as I have nothing else to do but hit the gym and grind pokersssss.

I guess I am not moving up to the 60s this week, haven't spoken to my backer, but seems unlikely after a breakeven ev week at 30's so aim for this week is 800 games $800+ EV and move up to the 60's next week.

Here is to week 5 being my best week yet!
