Overrated overall, but Bruce's "I'm On Fire" still crushes the best of pretty much all of the others (exception maybe "Seven Nation Army" and still ahead of "Under The Bridge").

All this Bruce Springsteen talk reminds me of that movie Blinded by the Light.

I know this is WAY too early, but I just got Caesar's semi annual promo e-mail.

Can get 4 nights at Bally's during WSOP (Wed-Sat) for $160. Total.

Snap accept, right? (Can cancel before 6/1/21 without penalty, so if Covid still sucks or I still feel like crap, can pull the rip cord no problem)

I would think yes to accepting those terms. Can always grab something cheaper if it comes along.

Check out the promo for James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Looks bonkers and the cast is pretty solid

Do people in here actually watch those superhero / comic book movies?

Like, I can understand how you might go if your kids wanted to watch them but surely we’re not going under any other circumstances?

I really liked The Dark Knight, first couple Iron Man movies, some of the X Men movies. Also the 2012 Spiderman with Andrew Garfield was the only one I liked.

Outside of those I just lost interest and haven't really watched any of them and I don't pay attention to any new ones coming out because I don't care anymore.

Oh yeah I liked the first one. Forgot about that one.

Interesting he was also in Blade and Wolverine prior.

No we’re not going under other circumstances.

Now my kids are at the age where they go to one movie and Mrs Breeze and I go to something else. It’s magical.

I really hope we can get back to some OG chatting, now. I was traveling and missed most of the handegg games yesterday, but got back for the fourth quarter of the Sunday Night game. Amazing ending. Legion of Boom-like from Seattle, even though it's more like the No-Name Defense, now.
For anyone who doesn't know, my OOT nickname is McMuffin.

And it's all good Garick, I got plenty of posts in the holster, I don't mind if a few get deleted!

Those Patriots and Seahawks always play down to the finish! Russell Wilson shouldn't have named his son Win, he should've changed his own name to Win!

Movies don’t make a billion dollars because only kids want to see them.

The highest grossing movie ever is a superhero movie

He literally played Wade Wilson (Deadpool) in the Wolverine movie.

My kids said to me after the last movie:

Dad, I was scared. Everyone else in the theatre had at least 125 pounds on us.

Oh I definitely missed that. Was he in 2 Wolverine movies? I had never heard of Deadpool at the time so I think he was just some generic ninja villain lol.

I understand posting about charitable donations is kind of inherently meh, but I also decided to donate $500 to an autistic charity that helps people develop the skills needed to be successful in life.

I've made many friends through poker and video games that have autism. I think it's a very misunderstood thing that gets incorrectly thrown around a lot and its something I'm happy to try to help.

Just wanted to share

You’re probably not wrong. I would guess comic book fans, in general, skew overweight. Hell, The Simpson’s Comic-Book Guy is a caricature of such.

That doesn’t make the movies bad or unwatchable. I find them very enjoyable for the most part, but I’m into that stuff.

No, just the one. The ****ed Deadpool up sooo much in that movie that Ryan Reynolds basically single handedly got them to make a Deadpool movie to make up for it.
