FWIW Kelisitaan is correct on pretty much every point.

Although I certainly appreciate the efforts of the mods, they are not above criticism when they screw things up.

To summarize:
1) Bring back 200NL
2) Go back to your cages, busto-limit players (except cool guys like Coordi and some others).
3) Kelisitaan speaks the truth, though the truth is often ugly.
4) I should clearly be a mod of this forum. I know what the higher limit players want, because I am one of them, but I'm also not hated on by all the busto donks like Keli is. I was voted best poster of this busto forum after all.

1) take a quick glance at the SS forum and, surprisingly, there's no petition from the 200 players to be "brought back". Why is that? Since when did you and anyone else here speak for that level?

2) hahaha, keep pushing fat boy.

3) No, he doesn't. The reason you, and he, want the 200 players is for the traffic so that you don't then have to do any work to make this place earn its living.

Have you noticed how many ms players posted for a while after the last split and then wandered off? Why didn't they stick around? Could it be anything to do with the numbers of stupid kids making low content ******ed posts the whole time?

4) yeah and you probably would be if you weren't out of step with what's good for 2+2.

The current split keeps the likes of you guys away from the forums that actually make 2+2 money, the micro and ss forum members are the ones who click the ads and buy the books, not you. All you people do is dick around and cause trouble.

There wouldn't be a petition here if I personally didn't make it, because it's not extremely important or whatever, and because 90% of 2+2 are too lazy/don't care enough/don't want to get banned to post what they feel. Plenty of 200nl players are upset with being moved down (all the cool ones are anyway), and the fact that you think that since there's no petition, they don't care, is obviously the dumbest argument ever, since 1) there's a petition here already and 2) it's obvious that a petition won't change anything anyway

FWIW: though there is a hell lot of traffic in the new small stakes forum since the latest split, 95 % of the new threads seem to be pretty boring / standard and the quality of the replies seems to have deteriorated.

What's even worse: the chat/OT threads don't show the slightest streak of humour so far what, on a positive note, cuts down the time I spend in the forum a lot.

So yeah, maybe the split wasn't the best decision after all but there have been a lot of people requiring it so imo we should give this at least some time to see how it works out in the end...

its a ****ing poker strategy forum, people are here to learn... the only people that come here to joke around are the ones whose purpose isnt really to improve but to get a laugh all the time... I think this forum is def appropriate for that kind of stuff given that everyone here sports a ****ing tinfoil hat when it comes to helping other people out.. btw, every good poster this forum has still helps out in the SS forum so I dont really see whats the problem.

FWIW as a 200NL player I don't particularly want to be stuck in a forum with the high stakes posters. 200NL has strategy discussion. 400+NL discussion seems to me to be little more than epeen waving. Granted in this case the epeen waving is more justified than in most other situations you'll find it, but the degree of leveling, intentional misdirection, and OOT BS makes higher stakes almost a pollutant to those that are interested in improving their games through strategy discussion.

There are a few exceptions to this, and apologies to them. But as far as I can see the SSFR forum seems to be getting along swimmingly.

I'm obviously no exception here, but I didn't ever act like I was a big strat poster or anything, I stick to the OT threads and post there and don't screw around in strat threads. I don't see why everyone is as egotistical as they are here. I used to kinda try to be extra egotistical on here to piss people off, but a lot of people go way overboard

Speak for yourself I wanna come back. I have posted a few hh's over there and the advice you get is awful. Plus I am sick of filtering through the " I limped AA pre flop oop what do I do now" crap threads and "Fold KK????" or "Fold a set????" threads plus it seems like more of a 100nl regs forum than any thing.

People like Kel might post levels some times but as he said some things you have to think about on your own and not be spoon fed. I would rather post here where there are players than give you answer's that actually make you think on a differnt level and have some insight to them other than "he has to have the nuts here FOLD!!!" type answer's

i think 200nl hands should be allowed here if they are halfway decent ie not totally standard, and are presented well. What solid 200nl player wants drooling, caged animals answering their strat questions. I'd rather have SABR or Kel's sarcastic replies that have an edge of truth underneath.

we should just have all the good posts from all levels in one forum (and call that the cool forum), and only allow people to post in the strat threads if theyre a good player/poster, and then stick the rest in another forum (called the uncool forum) and make everyone who isnt good or cool post in there. yep, that seems practical

Then come back. If you think you'd get useful advice out of these people just go ahead and post. If you feel embarassed about only playing for 200 sovs, just edit the hh ffs, though I seriously doubt the mods or anyone else will care one way or the other.

Or, how about this. El Diablo's forum doesn't allow anyone to start threads unless they are on an approved list. Why not have that system. That would stop donks like me from starting fold KK threads whilst letting cool kids like you hang out with the bigger boys and smoke cigarettes or whatever else it is you want to do with them behind the bike sheds.

I think that was more or less what Pattay was suggesting, well its a pretty good idea imo espec if he were in charge of the list, I mean I hate Everybody here but even I have to admit he is pretty cool.
