Way to be completly misleading although by now I have come to expect it.

The monthly chat thread, pokerstars regulars, full tilt regulars, BBV, Fantasy football, July Graph/Goals, HU thread, and OnGame Regulars are completly standard and are found in every full ring forum with maybe the exception of the OnGame Regulars. That is 8 right there.

That leaves this thread as 9.

WOW really empressive, especially since the reason we were given that 200nl was moved was because we were too low content, yet you guys don't even allow us to start low content threads.

I know right, the dude has been trolling this entire thread (not just only that post), and even worse is he isn't even close to intelligent at all and doesn't even play these stakes.

Ok, I know this is pretty mild stuff in comparison with what's been said before and I probbly did go too far in my earlier post but

a) it wasn't directed at you
b) for some reason your still firing at me although as far as I'm concerned the war's over. Your troll brother's banned. If he comes back and starts mouthing off again, most likely it's a permaban. For me, that is mission accomplished.
c) if you or anyone else makes any sort of personal attack on me again, I will take that as a declaration of war.

And no, I don't play these stakes. I've said that in this and other threads. But, I am a NL100 player, I don't care for the mob humour directed at that stake any more than the ratholers like getting lynchmobbed as they often do by you folks. That's why I'm here.

To the best of my knowledge, no one ever said that this forum would allow off-topic threads or an abundance of low content threads. And as you and your brother love to emphasize, this forum has far less traffic than the others, so the low content threads here do make up a much greater percentage of the active threads. None of them are receiving an overwhelming number of posts, and as such, there is no reason to add more of them. The monthly chat thread has a pretty low post count right now in comparison to what they get in some other forums, so I really see no reason why anyone cannot put their offtopic posts in there.

This forum does exist to serve its members, but that extends to all the members, and some do want to discuss strategy. Given that this is a strategy forum, their desires win out 100% of the time over those that wish to sabotage their threads.

I do not think anyone is quite happy about the current forum setup, and opinions on the situation are welcome. However, opinions from people who are unable to express themselves in a civil manner or make any attempt to follow the rules will not be given too much weight. And fwiw, this was my opinion of the situation the first time I saw this thread, before I had any idea that I would become the mod here.

No one outright said it but it was said that 200nl was moved because they wanted to do more strat stuff and 400+ wanted to do more off topic stuff. Hence I see no reason why we can't start off topic threads here, especially since it's not like there are tons of off topic threads started here anyway.

And bringing up the low content thread totals compared to other forums is ridiculous considering this forum is dead. Why don't you compare those low content threads in this forum to the strat threads in this forum? The low content ones have like 5x more posts/views than the strat threads combined.

Why can't people who don't like low content threads just not read them, like I do with strat threads? It's not like there are tons of them and it's clogging up the forum, infact i'm pretty sure anyone with common sense can agree there are way too little threads started on this forum, not too much.

The reason we want more off topic threads is because it gets confusing having them all bunched up in one thread, kinda like if you were to have "one big strategy thread" and all strategy goes in that thread. How well do you think that would work?

I agree with not sabotaging strat threads, and if you didn't notice I don't do it. Infact I rarley even post in the strat threads, but it seems cool to link me with my brother even though we are two different people.

There really are 2 obvious steps (aside from bringing back 200nl) and they are either allow off topic threads to be started, or make a full ring forum which allows off topic threads to be started.

I don't know if anyone else has been following Leatherass's well post, well anyhow I'm a fanboy and I heard him say this:

"I do agree that the biggest jump is from 1/2 to 2/4. Although the jump from 5/10 to 10/20 I noticed to be pretty tough as well".

I can't think of anyone better qualified to comment on the skill differences between the various levels, I mean has he got it totally wrong?

lol at leatherass being the best person to ask on the biggest jump from 1/2 to 2/4 when he hasn't played 1/2 in like a year and plays 6max as well which is def different in terms of levels than full ring.

The best person to ask is someone who constantly jumps between 1/2 and 2/4.
