In the war of information it seems to me that having an understanding of why you don't want to give away strat advice is among the types of things you would also want to keep to yourself. You are helping your opponents not give away too much in here. Perhaps you believe you can figure them out at the tables just as well anyway whereas those reading YOUR posts would get way more benefit reading your logic than trying to figure it out through observation.

Bob, I think it's nice that you're diplomatically trying to talk the dude around with logic and common sense. You're good that way. But, I think it's misguided to treat with him like that.

The truth is, Kelisitaan is a foaming mouthed troll who's out to tread on any serious discussion and has more or less singlehandedly killed this forum. The more he trolls and is seen to get away with it, and the more the mods pander to him and try to work around him instead of kicking his ass out of town, the more others just don't want to get involved in any discussion either because they want to copy him or because it's just too much effort wading through his trollery.

It's no use appeasing him and hoping he'll drop some gem of a poker secret if his ego is stroked correctly, guy makes a living as a professional bully ffs.

i really doubt it is keli's fault that this forum has little strat. it is mainly because there are not a lot of high stakes full ring regulars. most of the good ones seem to go play 6m and hu.

as far as keli goes, i think his levels are funny. most of the regular posters here are not really looking for strat anymore, we are trying to be part of a community, talk with fellow players. it is somewhat like talking at a water cooler at a real job.

That's all very well, and I'm not saying that the current setup is ideal. The FR forum generally would probably do better if this were the FR community channel. But it isn't at the moment. My point is that the forum generally, and strat threads especially, are the wrong place for water cooler talk. This needs to happen at the water cooler, not in the library, not in study hall, not at someone's desk where the guy next door is trying to work. As for the current regs, well it happens all the time that people outgrow the forum. The usual progression is that they move to BBB4l, EDF, whatever community forum does it for them, or obviously the chat thread here. THat way, they make room for the next generation of players who aren't quite done with taking strat.

But virtually every single strat thread since the last split has been trolled by one or other of the chuckle brothers. That's hardly an encouragement for anyone thinking about posting here and I dread the day where I have to share a forum with them again.

I can assure you that neither Keli or myself have never been bullied or been a bully and are not fat nor are we anorexic. I come on here like BT said to talk to people who play my stakes and have some fun inbetween sessions during the days when my real friends work jobs.

Here is my question...Berge said that the reason that 200nl was not put here was because they desire more strat posts and less offtopic posts, and that since the needs of 400nl players was no strat and just offtopic posts. If this is truly the case, how come every time I go to make an offtopic post it gets moved and I get an "infraction". Well guess what, soah you are a truly awful mod...worse than all the other mods combined. As I told you in PM, if the lack of activity doesn't kill this forum, your overmodding and deleting of posts most certainly will. Grats on being awful

No one has said that it is acceptable to post anything they want to as a new thread. He chose to do so while acknowledging when he did it that it was going to get locked or moved. He has been told numerous times that there are other forums on 2p2 where his behavior would be welcomed. The strat forums are not among them. He was first asked to change his posting, then warned, and now he is getting infracted and tempbanned. There have been numerous complaints from various members about his behavior, and to a lesser extent yours and a couple others. The fact that some of you do not want to post any strat does not mean you can distrupt the forum for those that do.

The reason why 200nl was moved away was given as because they wanted to focus more on strat and less on off topic stuff. Yet this forum, which is supposed to be more into off topic stuff, doesn't even allow off topic threads...

The thing is the other forums aren't filled with people who I play with poker with and want to talk to in the first place. I like talking to most of the people on here, not the people in BBV etc.

And since you mods seem to have such hate towards funny off topic threads just shows that there really needs to be a seperate off topic full ring forum where we can start these threads (and i'm sure i'm not the only person who wants this) especially since you won't let us post off topic threads here.

Counting this one, I see 9 low content threads available in this forum currently.

Specialwon has a reputation of starting **** and being worse than useless here. I remember a few times wheres he really pissed alot of us off( i dont think he plays or wins at midstakes either fwiw)
